After multiple attempts to reach the property owner via the app and calling VRBO to get them to contact host (4 different VRBO representatives were unable to reach host), I had to scramble to get a hotel room. The host them emailed saying they had sent me information (I searched my spam folder, etc.) and there was no explanation as to why they didn't respond to me via the app or why they didn't respond to the VRBO representatives. Further, I have not received a refund since I was told that the money was paid directly to the host. I have been back and forth with VRBO and have not received my money back or been paid for the hotel I had to book to have a place to stay. It was a terrible experience.
