“From the moment that we checked in, Mike and May the owners made us feel at home. They are such friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage was up a flight of steps and Mike carried our cases up for us. Everything anyone could need was there. Spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed. A sitting out area overlooking their gardens. “Overall we had an excellent stay, however a couple of things. Other guests didn't respect the no noise after 10 PM rule and were quite loud which made it very hard to sleep as obviously in tents like these you hear everything. Also, we were struggling to enter the property when checking in. We were supposed to use the code for the gate received by email, but we weren't able to check our email and we were stuck for half an hour, trying to call the emergency number to no avail. “Amazingly peaceful stay at this beautiful grand old house filled with gorgeous and well mantained antiques. The breakfast was incredible, and we really appreciated the fresh baked gluten free bread! The service was all we could wish for and we enjoyed swimming in the pool outside under the stars. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a break from the city hustle and bustle.”
