Tout était parfait, nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille. Nous avons apprécié la proximité du lac et de la nature, sans voisins trop proches. Le lac était bas cette année, il faut donc être prudent en descendant dans l’eau (surtout ne pas sauter), mais Sonia nous avait mis en garde. Quelques sangsues dans le lac, mais en nageant plus loin et en évitant d’agiter la vase, pas de problème. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à utiliser le quai mobile pour s’installer plus loin où l’eau était plus profonde. Soyez prévenus que les moustiques sont voraces cette année, donc notre meilleure soirée fut lorsque nous avons placé le brasero sur la gravelle. Sonia a été une hôtesse réactive et aidante pour tous les petits détails, ce que nous avons apprécié. Je recommande ce chalet, parfait pour les grandes familles!

The perfect stay

De la réservation jusqu'au check out, tout était parfait. L'endroit est magnifique , l'atmosphère magique, le chalet est complètement équipé . Les communications avec Sonia sont excellentes. Nous nous sommes senti très heureux et apaisés . Points forts sur la cuisine et l'équipement de cuisine: parfait pour les grandes tablées et ceux qui aiment cuisiner.. Le lac est coquet et on s'y sent intime..Et tout cela dans une atmosphère de chalet typiquement canadien. . Nous y reviendrons sans aucun doute, merci Sonia pour votre hospitalité

Rivière-Rouge Cottage

This was our second visit to this property and we will return again. The cottage has everything you could possibly need; a great dock with water toys, a fire pit with plenty of chairs, a fully functional kitchenwith a largre dining table, and it's only 5 minutes away from the cutest little town for any groceries or supplies you may need. Couldn't ask for a better cottage or host. 5 stars!

So much fun!

I had my sister, daughter, her husband and their two young girls. I invited some of my staff also who have an 8 year old and 14 year old. They loved it. Everyone had a blast and many precious moments. Enjoyed the lake, boat, kayaks, paddle board.

Beautiful spot

This was our third year at Les Trois Canards, and our family keeps coming back. The cottage is very spacious and clean with a big deck looking out over the lake for relaxing. The cottage is well appointed and even great if you are stuck inside on a rainy day. Owners are very kind and helpful and communication was prompt. The lake is great for canoeing and kayaking. In summer 2023, there were leeches, so keep an eye out while swimming and try to go further into the lake. This wasn't a problem for us in summer 2021 or 2022, so hopefully it is temporary.

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful week with our family. It was great to get together and have lots of room to do so. The cottage was very clean and had lots of amenities. Everyone enjoyed the games room, kayaks and it was nice to have a large table that everyone could sit together for meals. It was also a bonus to have a grocery store and bike trails so close by. Katia met us when we arrived and showed us around the cottage so we felt comfortable where everything was. Great stay and very nice cottage!

Quiet Lake in Riviere Rouge

We enjoyed our stay at the chalet. It was spacious and clean, with lots of starter items in the kitchen. The open area of the dining and living space was great, as was the large deck that runs along the back. We sat out every evening for happy hour. We used the canoes and kayaks and swam off the dock as often as the weather allowed. The lake is very quiet; we saw one other person actually on the water. There is some 4x4 activity in the area, but not too much. Beds were comfortable. The downstairs was a little humid. The property slopes steeply to the water so be aware of that if anyone has limited mobility. All in all a great spot.

This cottage has a lot going for it - it is well appointed, we designed/structured and has enough bedrooms to satisfy a large group/family gathering. Kayaks, boats and equipment are "like new" and in great condition. It was pleasantly quiet around the cottage even though we were concerned that proximity to the local trail network would make it noisy as four-wheelers race by. This never happened - it was cosy, and quiet. On the downside, there are items that owners can control, and some they can't. The lake itself was a little disappointing. We didn't get much swimming in as the depth is limited to about 5 feet and the bottom near the dock is rocky - one of our family members jumped into the lake off the dock and cut his foot on day 1... while "discovering" that the lake is quite shallow. Bikes should be checked and have inflated tires - that's an easy fix. The outdoor gazebo and dining table area needs proper seating as all we had were Adirondack type chairs which are good for lounging or near a campfire, but not good for sitting at a table to enjoy a meal - so we never used the gazebo and outdoor table area. Some other minor irritants were bedroom door hinges that squeaked quite loudly (a little lubricant would fix that), and a queen bed mounted on a wooden slat/storage unit that squeaked at the slightest movement - making it hard to fall asleep and stay asleep. We had fun playing volleyball and enjoyed the fire pit and marshmellow/smores time together.

Beautiful and well laid out cottage

The cottage was beautiful. The owners were very kind and left us an adorable Welcome To Canada gift basket for us to enjoy. The kayaks were perfect! We really enjoyed our time. These owners really decked the place out...satellite internet AND wifi, in case of a breakdown... foosball table, games, newly redone kitchen etc. The kitchen itself was missing some essentials like measuring spoons, but when taken in account how well appointed the rest of the cottage was, it's pretty clear that they were taken by past guests and the owners didn't notice. The cottage is surrounded by the owners' land so you can forage for mushrooms and hike amongst the trees. A badminton net was set up as was a gazebo with moveable fire pit. We spent so many nights enjoying the fire pit and reconnecting with family we had been missing during the COVID years. If you rent this cottage, you will not be disappointed. :)

A great stay

The chalet is exactly as described and has special touches to make your stay that more comfortable. Our two families of 4 were a perfect fit with everyone getting their own bed. The large dining table was fantastic and having a "teenage hangout" in the lower level with lots to keep them occupied was great. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing family holiday!

My extended family and I spent a week at the chalet and it was perfect. The chalet had everything we needed and our hosts provided us with a smooth check-in and check-out process. We had tons of room for all of us (6 adults, 2 children) and there was plenty of extra things - the dart board and foosball table were awesome! There are so many books, board games, and videos to watch as well. Everything was clean. Being in the middle of the woods on a lake was spectacular!! It is super easy to get to, and approximately 40 min to Tremblant which made our skiing trips great. This is an amazing place, providing us with the most spectacular holiday memories!

Nice house with great lake views!

Very quiet and restful place. The house was very well laid out, very clean and exactly in the condition as pictured! The kitchen was well stocked with appliances. The house has a great layout. It was just me, my wife and my son, but the house can accommodate many more people. The house has very nice views of the lake from the main living area and there is a nice deck with a gas heater which we used on the colder days. We went biking on the Le P'tit Train du Nord and hiking at Mont Tremblant and Montagne-Verte/ Nez-de-l'Indien. We enjoyed the dock at the house after a long day of outdoor activities. We also enjoyed the poutine at Patate de la Rouge. Great place!

Absolutely beautiful

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The cottage was amazing! The 8 of us had more then enough room, it was equipped with everything we needed and the kayaks, paddleboard and canoe made for hours of fun. I can't even list all the extras that made our stay wonderful but the fire pit table and large deck heater were two of them. The close proximity to Mont Tremblant was great as well. Thank you for sharing your amazing cottage with us. We'll be sure to return in the future.

Wonderful Cottage

We stayed for two weeks with two families. The cottage is exactly as described. With the upstairs and downstairs space, we had room to spread out and be separate or be all together. We loved the very long dining table. The owners have taken care to equip with everything to make for a fun and easy stay. Kitchen has all you need, linens are lovely. Beautiful views to the dock and lake and woods with no other cottages in sight. Quiet small lake perfect for kayaking and canoe. Close to Rivière Rouge for essentials, biking and a couple restaurants (recommend Tutto in Bocca). We would be happy to stay again, any season.

Spacious, clean, all amenities

Went 2 families, 4 adults, 4 kids (11-17). Really enjoyed the lake and provided equipment (boat, kayak, SUP, fishing rods), firepit. Lots of rooms, large kitchen/dining room, all equipped. 35-40 min to village tremblant. Will visit again.

Summer 2021

Property was exactly as shown online. It was super clean and had all the necessities for our family of 11. We had so much fun going paddle boarding and kayaking. My kids loved fishing of the dock. In the evening we enjoyed ourselves sitting around a bonfire. Would totally recommend this cottage.
