“I liked how responsive the owners are and how quiet it is. The breakfasts are amazing - they give you a menu and bring it to your door when you want and it tastes great! The only downside is when it's super cold out, the floor gets cold, but they do run space heaters in addition to the regular heater and even put down extra rugs. The cabin is on stilts since it's right on the river so I think some insulation under the floor would make it perfect!”

“The cabin was comfortable and very cute. The only thing that upset me was that the water was unsafe- even when put in the Brita Filter. It smelled strongly of metal and when I rinsed out a cup that had had it in it, it had a red/brown residue. So we had to buy water to wash hands and drink etc. But the area is really beautiful and I understand we're in the woods. It's a very comfy spot.”

“This cute cabin is great. It is very clean. The beds are super comfy. I am 6'3 and slept in the bunkbed and it was long enough and wide enough to give me a great night sleep. The bedding is high end and cozy. The deck is right over the Ohio river - great views. The courtyard area is clean with new outdoor furniture. I also loved that in the Welcome manual they said that they don't have a lot of rules. I hate when you check into a place and there are 10 pages of rules and common sense...

“This cabin was all it advertised and more. Never have stayed anywhere with as many amenities. The setting was beautiful and quiet and relaxing. Close to town but in the countryside. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting some time away from it all. ”

“Great location for our large family to get together under one roof. Dan is great and was very accommodating to our needs. Only a few minor issues, but no deal breakers at all here. We did not get in the hot tub, but it did look inviting! The game room was a huge plus for our group. We also appreciate the WiFi, which seemed to work quite well. Because I’m a bit old-fashioned, the bathroom barn doors was not something I’m typically used to. Thanks Dan for everything! 4.5-star!”

“We rented this wonderful place for my son and soon to be daughter-in-law to use to get ready for their wedding at the historical train depot in Wellston Ohio. The location was great!
