“It's a beautiful building. They only have 2 rooms I think. So, was only me. I had my own bathroom. It's bigger then mine at home. The food is divine!!!! And it's like a 5 min walk from Clitheroe Castle!”

“Nice large rooms. Bed was comfy. Loccitane products in the bathroom! We attended a wedding there so was great to just be able to practically crawl to bed after. Only negatives were the shower enclosures are not really designed to stop the flood of water onto the bathroom floor. And the room got a little hot at night. Breakfast was delicious! Staff were very friendly.”

“Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.”

“We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...

“The room was tidy and quiet with all the facilities one would expect. The decor and fittings were a bit worn but clean and tidy. Breakfast was ample and the whole night stay was good value for money. It’s in a lovely location and I will return.”

“It was snowing when we arrived. The room was very cold because of no heating. I returned to reception, complained and the heating was connected, After a few hours the room heated up. At 2 am I woke up. The room was very cold and without heating. I called reception for more that 30 minutes but no one answered. In the morning I complained. The hotel answered that there was nothing that could be done. No shampoo in the room. I will not return. Not recommendable.”
