Other guests didn't respect the no noise after 10 PM rule and were quite loud which made it very hard to sleep as obviously in tents like these you hear everything. “This hotel is exceptional . We got upgraded to the swim put room, the sun was on the pool until sun it was glorious to sit there with a glass of wine be able to swim in the pool overlooks the perfectly manicured mountains. The room is beautifully decorated to a very high standard, large king size bed and soft drink and tea and coffee. We ate dinner in the hotel - only dinners so treated to great service . The menu is much more expensive than other places we’ve experienced in South Africa...

“We spent a night at this lovely place on the outskirts of Montagu. There is a feeling of being out in the country, without actually being too far away from the very pretty town. The room is nicely furnished, very good bed. The views from the private patio are wonderful. Very good breakfast. Unfortunately we didn´t do the tour of the Botanical Products manufacturing, on site - where lovely organic beauty products are lovingly made. We hope to do that next time!”

“Our stay was great. The host was outside and greeted us when we drove up. She directed us to our room (an upgrade) and explained the services, mainly breakfast since it was winter. Speaking of breakfast, the hot plate was delicious, a great start to our morning. Only issue was the cold. It was in the high 30s/low 40s and there was no heat in the room or breakfast area. The extra blanket helped, but there was no where to sit that was a reasonable temperature. The staff we met were all fabulous....
