We made a very last minute decision to get away for the weekend only 2 days prior. That weekend happened to be available, and check-in was swift. I thought the spaced looked better in person than online, and was very spacious (2 of us), yet cozy. There was plenty of space for a family, or even a group. Beds and furniture were extremely comfortable. We used both the indoor fireplace and the outside fire pit, as we're used to having fires nightly, especially outdoors when it snows. I brought camping folding chairs which we used, as the outdoor furniture by the pit needs to be tossed and replaced, which probably will be come warmer weather. The back porch (although we didn't use), is a nice outdoor space with all the accessories you would need for cooking/eating outside. The homeowners were super friendly and immediately available for any needs. Reviews mentioned lack of sharp steak knifes which we found to be true so bought some while we were there and donated them to the house. The toilet is also what was described in reviews. There is a trick to it...It's a farm so....just flush it twice...It works fine. The dogs were friendly, but mostly kept inside, so don't let that be a deterrent if you're not a dog person. The location was great. We loved that we were in the country on a farm (yes, there are horses) and still close to where we spent our days hiking at Berea College Forestry. This is insane for the price. We will be back.
