Stonehaven Cottages en Tuscobia Lake LLC.

La cabaña "Gatekeeper" es nuestra primera estructura nueva aquí en Stonehaven. ¡El interior del piso principal está completamente terminado y es hermoso! Hay una chimenea de piedra natural en la sala de estar, una cocina completa, un baño completo en el piso principal y medio baño en el altillo. Uno debe poder subir las escaleras de mano al desván. Los huéspedes son bienvenidos a las rutas de senderismo y al aire libre de nuestra propiedad de 40 acres.

El espacio
Apple Maps es preciso para llegar a Stonehaven Cottages, pero Google Maps todavía está en el proceso de colocar nuestra dirección correctamente en su sistema. Nuestra cabaña es libre de humo. Si fuma, puede fumar afuera en nuestro porche que envuelve todo el frente de la cabaña o en cualquier lugar al aire libre donde el humo no afecte a los demás. Los fuegos artificiales de cualquier tipo están estrictamente prohibidos en la propiedad.

El lago
El lago Tuscobia es un hermoso lago salvaje alimentado por manantiales. Durante los meses de verano, la mayor parte del lago tiene mucha maleza y es el más adecuado para practicar piragüismo, botes de remos y kayaks. Sin embargo, el extremo norte del lago tiene 24 pies de profundidad con mucha menos hierba, y nuestros huéspedes pueden tomar una milla o más en pontón hasta ese extremo y nadar fuera del pontón. El lago en sí es visible desde el porche delantero de la cabaña, pero está a un cuarto de milla a pie de nuestra zona de muelle. También hay varias áreas de fogatas que dan al lago para que disfruten nuestros huéspedes.

Acceso de invitado
Los huéspedes tienen todo el nivel principal y el altillo para ellos solos y también pueden usar cualquiera de nuestras rutas de senderismo y áreas de fogatas en toda la propiedad de 40 acres. También tenemos un pontón, bote de remos, canoa y bote de remos que cualquiera de nuestros huéspedes puede alquilar en el lago Tuscobia. Cuando se complete la salida del sótano en el futuro distante, los huéspedes también tendrán acceso a esa área, que agregará otra área para dormir y otro baño de 3/4. El sótano está desocupado mientras los huéspedes se quedan con nosotros.

Como propietarios, vivimos en la propiedad, por lo que si necesita algo, estamos a solo una llamada de distancia. Uno de nosotros está disponible casi el 100% del tiempo.

Otras cosas a tener en cuenta
Precios regulares de $ 150 por noche los fines de semana (viernes y sábado) y $ 125. 00 por noche entre semana (dom. -Thurs.) Los sábados por la noche se escucha el ruido del Rice Lake Speedway. El circuito está a una milla de distancia y el nivel de ruido varía según la dirección del viento.

Multigenerational Family Trip
Myself, my daughters and my grandchildren all enjoyed our stay at Stonehaven's, Gatekeeper Cottage for our annual trip. We enjoyed everything about the property. The cabin itself and the property were very special. We enjoyed our pontoon ride during which we saw several eagles flying overhead and even diving for a fish, there were multiple herons and a loon who stayed nearby diving and popping up. We highly recommend this rental getaway.

We stayed two nights on an atv trip. Cabin is really unique especially for kiddos. they loved the loft and spiral staircase. We made good use of the walking trails on the property and the fire pit out back. Kitchen was well stocked and whole place was warm and cozy. Hit some peak fall color and got some great pics down by the lake. We will be returning! Cabin right on the atv trail!

This place is great! We loved it!
The Gatekeepers Cottage was fabulous! It was even better then what the pictures showed. Such a great use of all the space and beautifully decorated. The owners checked in on us shortly after arrival to see if there was anything we needed and to point out the different activities available to us. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out and hanging out on the front porch. We would definitely stay here again - possibly in the winter after learning that the snowmobile trails are just across the road.

Amazing girls weekend!
Girls weekend at the cottage was amazing! Ted and Lori were so helpful and kind. And the cottage was beautiful, we slept comfortably for the 6 of us. They have everything you need and more, with instructions for whatever you could think to ask about. We went out on the lake and it was very peaceful, beautiful weekend for weather wise. Loved that there were bathrooms and bedrooms on every floor. Decor was amazing, and kitchen was stocked well. Overall an amazing property! Would book again 😁

Beautiful cottage
Cottage was beautiful and clean. The upstairs bedroom is not ideal due to the ladder and the room gets very warm even with a/c set at a comfortable level. I will say the owners have everything you need there for you. If enjoying the lake is what you desire then this may not be the place for you as the algae on the lake was thick as carpet. Cottage is very quaint with all the refurbished antiques. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Pretty location, nice home.
We enjoyed our stay - the property is very unique and the owners were kind and helpful. Everything was clean, instructions were provided where needed and were very clear, and the house was well-equipped. The only negative is that it is difficult to get to either level where the beds are. The ladder staircase is a little scary, and the spiral staircase is very tight and tricky to manuever if you are carrying anything (like a suitcase). But I would stay there again if I was in the area!

Great Stay!
There were 8 of us adults that stayed at the cottage for a girls weekend. Our stay was fantastic and relaxing. With two levels and the loft, we were easily able to accommodate everyone for comfortable sleeping arrangements and had plenty of room. The host Lori quickly answered any questions that we had. Would highly recommend staying at Stonehaven!

Enchanting cottage
We had a fabulous girls weekend. The cottage was outstanding. The description of the cottage was spot on but there were so many special touches. The living spaces, bedrooms were so beautifully decorated, so comfortable. Absolutely loved the bathrooms, quaint and unique decorations, water pressure was lovely. The pulley for luggage was amazing, unfortunately we found out after dragging the luggage up that this was available. Someone was extremely clever when setting this cottage up, it was amazing, we will certainly be back.

What a great place! Five stars!
This cottage was perfect for our group of eight! Price was reasonable and access to local area (nature and in-town) was so close! Of all the rentals I have stayed in, this place was was the best equipped, most home-like, and the most relaxing. The hosts were incredibly helpful with any questions and proactive with things to do and know about the cottage. We’ll be back for sure!

Fantastic Place!
This property was so beautiful! It had several inviting trails to walk on. It had a pontoon we were able to rent for SUCH a reasonable price. It had cute dishes and cute, custom everything. It's just a neat place! It feels like you're in the country, but you're minutes from town, which makes it private AND still super convenient. Ted and Lori were fantastic about getting back to me about the few questions I did have. I cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Beautiful and relaxing getaway!
My wife and I loved this cozy cabin. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed having access to the lake and appreciated being out in nature while still being a short drive to town. We’ll definitely be back!
