There are a lot of pros for this rental - large kitchen, plenty of seating in kitchen/living room, 5 beds, decent master bath, upgraded garage with ping pong table. Gotta love the hottub and backyard, it was gorgeous! The washer/dryer came in very handy and the pantry had odds and ends that we forgot and super appreciated. We found a few cafes that were very kid friendly and super tasty. I recommend the BBQ restaurant that was just down the way. We didn't bring our dog, but It makes me very happy that they allow them. We definitely want to come back in the summertime.
The cons for this rental - worn formica with some edges coming apart in the kitchen, very uncomfortable king bed (it could really use a pillow top), a ton of dog hair on the couches. For the price we paid it would be nice to see real tile in the bathrooms instead of formica and linoleum, maybe quartz or granite countertops. You can tell there have been some upgrades to the faucets and such. Its not terrible by any means, but if the owners are looking to give their renters a "wow" experience that would be my focus. Also, the decorations are nice but not super kid friendly. I had to move some things to make sure my toddlers didn't hurt themselves.
I don't mean to be overly critical, I did REALLY enjoy our stay. I want to come back in the summer when I'm sure the outside features will be super fun for the whole family. And there are plenty of beds so we plan on inviting some family friends and their family when we come back.
