Family & fishing getaway 2023
We were impressed by the setting and landscaping. The pond was great and the screened in gazebo was the cherry on the top. The firepit and sidewalk had brand new concrete. This place had everything and more. It was simple and not overdone. We were able to relax and enjoy the nature. We saw turkey hens and their babies a few times. Boat launches are less than 20 minutes. We had no concerns with leaving our boat and equipment in the yard. We will definitely be back, the setting is peaceful, private and safe.

Loved this home
My family truly enjoyed our week long stay at Jeff’s cabin. We would not hesitate to stay there again. My grandkids enjoyed being able to roam in the woods with no fears (being from FL, we have snakes and critters to worry about). This house is well stocked.

Two night, Turned into 1 night
The property has potential but, we will not go back. Reached property after 8 pm, first thing you experience going inside was dark musty smell, HUMID, and 85 degrees inside. Turned on the lights and all you see through out the house is old stained carpet. So my significant other and I were sitting at the kitchen table trying to figure out if we were staying and we heard scratching from behind the refrigerator. We should have left but we had drove 4.5 hours to get there and had been up since 430am. We reluctantly stayed and left by 1030am the next morning.

Beautiful Retreat
Our family absolutely loved staying at the Anglers Retreat Property. It really exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect getaway. We Really Enjoyed the beautiful scenery, pond, and super clean home with everything we needed at out disposal. Kids really enjoyed feeding the fish and turtles in the pond. Lots of privacy. Jeff was a great host and super helpful. We will definitely be back again!

The site was beautiful wooded 20 acre location hidden in the woods. Loved the flow of the home perfect for family events or just getting away from home. Couldn't Fish due to restocking fish, but had fun looking at deer, going on nature walks through the woods and roasting marshmallows under the stars

The communication with the owner was great. The home was a perfect place for our family. The pond was very relaxing and fun for the grandkids that got to feed the fish. Great kitchen to cook in! Will be booking again!

Secluded great alternative to the Saginaw campgrounds. Sets on a beautiful stand of hardwoods. Jeff really made me feel at home. Booked for next year before I finished my vacation. Ten minutes from Gambils boat lauch. Great place to stay for the hard core walleye fisherman.

Felt Like home
We had a great time. Everything was very nice. And the beds were very comfortable. The owner was more than accommodating as well. We enjoyed the big fire pit and pond. The property is tucked away deep in the Michigan woods and very private.

This beautiful home was everything that we needed for our Girls Weekend.
I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful place to just relax. It was on a quiet dirt road and was VERY clean and met all of our needs. The woods were beautiful and the gazebo gave us a nice way to be outside and chat without having to worry about the bugs. The owner was very nice and welcoming. His wife even left us homemade cookies. Please give this place a chance.
