“The setting is lovely and the hosts are very accommodating. I will say to be careful when trying to swim off the shore. The mud is very deep and hard to get out of. I would recommend getting in and out of the water by using the dock and not trying to walk in and out. Kayaking was beautiful and there are plenty of them to use. Cottage has a renovated garage that serves as a very large and roomy sleeping area. It does get a bit damp and musty but we opened the windows and it was fine. ...

The location was perfect, we could see the river right from the yard, and the property is within easy walking distance to restaurants, the shops, the riverside parks and the boat museum. “We had an amazing time staying at this home. It is situated in a private setting and has picturesque views. It was beautiful. It is located close to stores and sight seeing opportunities. We loved having our morning coffee on the gorgeous and spacious deck and watching the large ships go by. We had extended family in town with us from The Netherlands and we made wonderful memories here. We highly recommend this home to anyone. It was great.”
