“We really our stay at this very cosy cottage. Great fire place with plenty of wood to burn. Being so near to the Raurimu Spiral for train, National Park for supplies and rock climbing and Mt Rhapehu was excellent. Our party of 10 were most comfortable. ”

“This was our first ‘extended’ family trip. Eight of us in total, 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 2, 6, 9, 15). The house and outside area was fantastic and fit for purpose. There was plenty of room so we didn’t feel on top of each other. Fantastically stocked kitchen, has every utensil and pot you’d need. Enough beds/bedrooms and bathrooms. “Cozy house with all the gadgets needed for a great stay with a group. We had 6 adults and 6 kids which we piled into one room with the bunk beds. 2 kids fitting on the bottom beds as they are bigger. The bunks could do with an oil as they were quite squeaky but other than that an overall good stay. Thanks!”

“Great accommodations. Near good restaurants, within driving distance from Tongariro (our reason for visiting this area), clean, comfortable beds. Only drawback is that there's only one bathroom for two couples. However, the toilet is in its own room - separate from the shower, but with a sink for hand-washing in each room. That made this facility workable for us. Highly recommend.”

“The chalet was the perfect stay for us to explore Tongoriro National Park. The park turnoff was 15 minutes away. The National Park town has numerous dining options with a number of places that have incredible outdoor views. The turn is small and walkable and very safe and quiet!
