Location is easy 8 min drive to Duke U Hospital but felt like a small escape from the serious purpose of visit. We were attracted by the hammocks for that reason and it WAS nice to grab a swing. As a close-proximity stay — as long as you don’t want to be right on the hospital campus — it was a winner. Nitetime arrival was no problem due to code entry. Plenty of room for 2 and would work equally as well for 2 couples who get along in shared spaces. Just one TV, but WiFi was fast & reliable for streaming. Bedroom walls open to ceiling so keep tantric acts muted. Bed was comfy and all rooms were spotlessly clean. Lighting in bdrms moody vs bright.Generous # of dishware, utensils, and glasses, large fridge water-filter pitcher drip coffee maker and microwave. (No toaster, no large mugs.) With several restaurants within a few blocks, kitchen perfectly stocked for take-out & leftover meals. Just the basics for pots & pans, tho, so if you need a specific item, ask if available. Laundry room is right across the hall and detergent is provided. Machines accept credit cards or phone pay.Parking in lot in front is a dice-roll but we lucked out each night & backup lot is 1blk away. Longish walk from elevator to room, so opt for wheeled luggage.Super well stocked with shampoo/conditioner/soap/ towels/paper products.Only con: 3rd party vetting requires all guests’ selfies, primary license photo & sig, a privacy concern since no data protection terms provided.
