“Couldn’t have been better! Ruben and Jessica were exceptional hosts - very friendly, helpful on local ideas and almost always available via phone, text or just knocking. If you’re planning a beach trip, they have things to lend out - cooler, beach towels, etc. - if they have it, you can use it. Wish we had more days as Ruben’s breakfasts are top notch. There are thoughtful items such as a cooler bag for day trips, beach towels, umbrella and chairs, even a rain umbrella. The common area pool and kitchen were always clean. “The “tiny” house comes with a kitchen and an amazing patio, but it’s the property and location that makes this a 5 star stay. You’re close to El Hippie which was awesome and not that far from the main entrance. If you have questions the hosts can and will answer them. Also, they grow a number of tropical plants and freely let you take them (we got a load of starfruit and a perfect guava-just don’t pick their pineapples!! They are still maturing.) “The property is amazing with great views and unique experience up in the rainforest. It is secluded and provides an eco experience. The roads up to the lodging are a little more challenging but we had a 4x4 vehicle and made it even with heavy rain. The hotel is currently partially under renovations but the host is very nice and try to ensure an enjoyable experience. Don't go into it thinking its a 5 star resort but rather an off-the-beaten-path experience.”

Tratamos de contactar al anfitrión durante el día y no obtenía respuesta. Llegamos a la propiedad a la hora de hacer check in pero tampoco nadie nos recibió y el lugar parecía completamente abandonado. “This is a lovely place in Aguada and a perfect spot if you enjoy being close to the ocean. Sitting on the covered patio and listening to the sound of the surf was one of our favorite parts of the stay. It’s ideal for walking the beach, watching the surfers, or even surfing right out your back door.The first-floor location was a big plus for us.
