Usted está mirando nuestro 45 'Albin Trawler - su propio yate privado en el centro de Providence. Esto es una mejora de una casa flotante regular que también ofrecemos. Nuestro Albin Trawler está convenientemente ubicado en el centro de Providence, a un tiro de piedra de Brown University, Waterfire, el lado este y la plaza Davol. Como parte de su estancia en nuestro puerto deportivo, Sleep Aboard ahora ofrece varias embarcaciones disponibles para alquiler, incluyendo varios kayaks, varias Stand-Up Paddle Boards (SUP) Y un clásico barco de remo Whitehall. Huge Disappointment
Please read ALL reviews before going further. Photo of boat isn't close to its current DECREPIT condition. Pre-arrival info was sent in a timely fashion, but was inaccurate and outdated. Safety issues on boat included dangerous boarding steps, electrical issues and only one entrance in/out of cabin. UNABLE TO LOCK CABIN FROM INSIDE. Strong permeating smell throughout. I did not stay any of the 3 nights booked, due to the conditions, misrepresentation of the property, and inability to reach Neil, the owner. He would not respond to phone calls, text messages or emails for 12 days! He was rude, accusatory, inaccurate via email when he did finally communicate. He denied any issues with the property and blamed my ineptitude! He threatened retaliation if a "bashing" review was sent to VRBO. All of my claims and communications have been documented with photos, times, and discussed with VRBO. A full refund has been requested from owner multiple times and refused prior to this review. An official VRBO report of the property will follow this review.

While the boat was older than i expected, it was clean and welcoming. Instructions for checkin were provided in a timely manner and were easy to follow. Nearby amenities made our stay even more enjoyable.

Phenomenal Boat House and Host
The family and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the host’s boat house. The property was much more spacious than the pictures represent. You will be pleasantly surprised. Neil was beyond accommodating and was super communicative. A++ experience all around. Will definitely be booking again.

After parking, getting a cart, unloading trucking hauling finally got to the boat the step or landing on the boat was falling apart if anyone whos heavier than I am or step on it wrong there could be serious injuries. Inside the boat was so musty smelly squciky and so hot we couldnt evem breath. I was worried about air quality inside. It is an old boat but cleanliness is a issue. Every cracks and ceiling looked moldy only bedding in master bed and sitting area seemed dusted or swipped. Under the tables or top of shelves everywhere else was packed with dust. It was so hot we decided to leave right away to give time for the room to cool. We went back after 3 hours but inside the boat was still 86 degrees and just coundnt see us relaxing and having a good time in there with that smell and uncleanliness. We immediately agreed not to stay there. It was very frustrating and uncomfortable experience not to mention waste of money.

Perfect Location
We enjoyed a 4th of July stay on the boat...both Waterfire and local fireworks were enjoyed. The marina is in a perfect location...close to many restaurants and a beautiful and pleasant walk to Waterfire. People in the boats docked around us were friendly and respectful. It is so much more fun than staying in a hotel. We're looking forward to doing it again!

The 3 digit combination lock is actually 4 numbers, the hot was wasn't turn on, the freezer was unusable due to frost buildup so the door wouldn't close, the owner asked me a second cleaning fee to wash the sheets and blanket (shouldn't that be standard!)

Fun Yacht
Second time at this marina renting from Neil. Super nice guy and he has fun rentals. This one was an old wooden Albin yacht. Well beyond it's day, but it was a lot of fun. It was everything we expected and will do this again.

Water line blew an hour in...sewer smell was so bad couldn’t eat, owner defiant and belligerent. Demanded a refund and vacated. Still waiting for full refund!

Cute, old and a bit worn.
This property was fairly easy to access. Needed institutional to turn on refrigerator and cooler. We could not get the shower to stay on, and we only got 1 tv channel. But it was cozy

Not so great
Boat it self is just ok, I wouldn't recommend it. Provided a PDF of everything I need to know, 1- gate code was wrong, had to call dock manager 2- light in shower did not work and was told by the owner to take an electric lamp into the shower where the shower is small therefore while showering water could hit the lamp, I wasn't looking to get executed. Candle on the boat all had no wick. When I contacted the owner he made no effort that day to fix the issue but instead told me to deal with it and that I'll survive and that it's boat not a house. Next day he offered me a free weeknight stay, I don't live in the area and would not take another there to stay there, no thanks. The boat had a mold smell at least have some air refresher or something since the boat is locked up. We left early next morning, didn't really enjoy our stay.

The boat is not in very good condition.
The boat was not cleaned very well and it has many things that are badly in need of repair. Overall, our stay was okay. Also, it was locked and not so easily accessible and we did come on the right day.

The four of us had a great night, and enjoyed the experience. Having the grill and AC was terrific. Neil was very responsive and helpful. Only reason not give 5 stars was one of the deck chairs was broken and no TV.

older boat, well appointed and comfortable.
we spent two nights, one very hot, we used the air conditioner, one cooler, we loved the warm comforters. the kitchen had everything we needed. there was plenty of space. and lots of deck room to spread out when outside. we would definitely recommend this accommodation and will visit again when next in providence. two thumbs up!
