“This place was the perfect place for solitude and family connection. The little cabin was efficient and perfectly appointed. It felt secluded, but it was just a short drive to Seward, which is fun and vibrant. I almost cried when we left and I vow to return one day. Side note: there was mention in the description of no cell service unless you have Verizon, but our Spectrum service there worked perfectly—even though you should not want to be on a phone in such a special place. ”

“The house is great. Many neat touches. Owners spent a lot of time and effort to make a nice home. Crossing the railroad tracks to get to lake added to the experience. Only item that makes us not give it a 10 rating is the stairs to the door from parking area. Suggestion would be a landing area to manage luggage and top stair needs to be leveled.”

“Awesome adventure! Loved living here for a night. The view from our front porch was epic. The space is so neat and clean. Beds were so comfy. Can hear others walking by at night so bring ear plugs. The sauna was awesome. The hot tub was lukewarm but still great to soak. The river was so close by we could walk to it. The pond was so close and people were walking in these bubble balls! “The salmon house was a lovely and comfortable place with everything by you could need for a stay. My Dad and I stayed 2 nights and were very happy. The beds were comfortable, everything was extremely clean and it has a nice view of the mountains to the west. Lori was an amazing host and easy to communicate with.
