Larry and Ann are wonderful hosts. They definitely care about their property and their guests. When we arrived the home was left for us, as if our Mom or Grandma had just made the place ready for us. We walked into their cozy little cottage with the radio playing softly, so that the atmosphere wasn't stale and cold upon our arrival. They had someone coming over to take care of something on the property, and we were notified in plenty of time, and the people who came over were very respectful. If we had any concerns about something in the house, Larry and Ann were right on it, and took care of it promptly. Ann put together a spice kit, there were about 15 different canisters full of yummy spices to use for our meals, that was amazing, and much appreciated. We also had the treat of watching a little a bird over the week, that had made her nest in a spot on the screened in porch, her eggs didn't hatch before we left, but it was fun for us to keep an eye on her. Where we're from, we don't have lightning bugs, but they were sure out in droves during our stay...this made our stay here, a little bit like a fairytale...
If someone asked me if I would stay at this property again, I would say with enthusiasm...YES! As would the rest of our party.
The people in the neighborhood were very friendly, actually everyone we ran into in Leipers Fork and the surrounding areas were all kind! This was one of the best parts about our trip!
