“The one big down fall for this apartment was no Wi-Fi. It also did not mention this in the description, if it had I would not of booked to stay there. I feel in this day and age Wi-Fi is essential with people travelling and keeping in touch, work commitments. When I checked with reception I was told this apartment is privately owned. Although clean and well equipped it needs a refresh of paint as looking rather worn out.”

“A short drove from town but feels totally rural and close to nature. Kangaroos, birds and close to forest trails. Loved the outdoor shower and shelves of books, great coffee and plenty of staples. My son loved hanging out in the trees and exploring with the hosts young daughter - and loved the free dogs and apples we were kindly gifted. Comfy beds and plenty of space. We will be back!”

“Was very surprised by the quality, comfort spaciousness at this accomodation. Sits near the corner of town and walkable to the centre. We had the roadside top level room, loads of space for a one year old to stay occupied! Huge bedroom area and living room space that is separated with a door. Lovely bath for two people. Was blown away at the quality vs the price, very affordable! Would highly recommend a stay at Margaret's Forrest.”

“This quaint old world weatherboard cottage was charming and unique with its original paintings by a recognised WA artist. Being set in the middle of farming land allowed us to view all the beautiful local birdlife and the Aurora Australis at night. Our UK grandchildren were charmed by all the birdlife as well as the local roos and emus in the neighbouring paddocks. The cottage was well stocked and basics were provided. Being small there wasnt really any room for us to put our own provisions....
