There were a few aspects of our stay that were disappointing.
We requested a late check-out before noon as we had some issue, especially since the property manager inquired if we could extend our stay due to no upcoming guests after us. Despite our email conversations, the property manager did not approve our request. This lack of accommodation was surprising. Additionally, after checking out, we had to remain in the area for an hour because we couldn't leave the area and no one came for cleaning or maintenance of the house. This experience was after we rented the house for 5 nights.
There were other discrepancies that we couldn't overlook. Although the house is renovated, the design is peculiar with sinks located in the mater bedroom. The temperature regulation was problematic, with the upstairs being extremely hot and in the same time the basement felt like a fridge. This was a significant concern for us. Guests should also be aware that gardeners might work during their stay, and not just during the check-out and check-in intervals. The description mentioned "beach access", but there was none available.
The community is quite. It is an old community, with newer houses at a few miles away from this house. We like Coeur d'Alene area, this was not our first trip in Coeur d'Alene.
