Peace and Quiet
This house is perfect for just two people or four. The layout is perfect. Nice big kitchen area, nice back porch area for cooking out and a nice big screened in front porch for relaxing. The guest rooms are spacious. The master bedroom is large as is the master bathroom. The house is on a dead-end street so no worries about traffic noise. Easy walk to the beach ! My wife and I are in our mid 50’s and were tired of all the noise and crowds with other beaches. If you are looking for peace and quiet, then Watershed Cottage is for you.

Peaceful Porch in Mexico Beach
Watershed cottage is a charming newly built home that is beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable. The roomy screened in front porch was of our family’s favorite rooms in the house. Another wonderful feature was the amazing walk in showers not only in the master bath but the guest bath as well. The beach and Killer Seafood is a convenient 5 minute walk away. Best of all our family dog got to come with us. Loved our stay!

Nothing short of wonderful!
The Watershed Cottage not only met but exceeded my expectations. I appreciate the attention to detail in the every aspect of the cottage. I especially loved the cleanliness. I typically do not rent from pet friendly rentals due to allergies but with the cleanliness of this rental you would never know pets were allowed. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week and I loved the spaciousness. The bathrooms were perfection and I appreciated the storage within the closets. I also especially loved having the chairs and wagon for our trips to the beach. Having extra amenities and details such as these really make a difference in a rental. I look forward to renting this cottage again.

A gem of a place!
We loved Watershed! We had a wonderful, very relaxing, and comfortable week. The cleaning service should absolutely be commended. Everything was spotless, not a single clue that anyone else ever stayed there, and I’m pretty picky. Beautifully and simply decorated, great bathrooms and comfortable beds. Well supplied kitchen. A couple recommendations-shades on the screened in porch (it’s hot in the afternoon when coming home from the beach) and additional kitchen towels. We were using a lot of paper towels because there was only one washable towel. We loved this house overall. Loved that it was at the end of a quiet street. However, the next street over is quite busy and so you’ll hear a lot of trucks going by when sitting on the porch. 14th St seems to be missing a ‘No Outlet’ sign so we saw a lot of cars come down our street and then turn around in front of our house when they realize they can’t cut through. We would definitely stay here again. I’m picky and this was a fantastic, cozy little cottage with a quick walk to the beach.

Summer vacation
We had a great time at the Watershed. It was a short walk to the beach. We love the screen in porch, we spent plenty nights enjoying the porch and the outside lights. The dead end street was also a plus. We definitely stay again

Home away from home
This was a great place for my family to stay for the week. The house was close enough to the beach (with public beach access)to walk in 5 minutes and near many restaurants. Our visit to Mexico Beach was a good one, in part because the house was clean, and had everything needed for us.

Beautiful Home and Wonderful Location
This house was perfect for our long weekend getaway. Space was perfect for the 4 of us. Great access to the beach! Loved being able to bring our pet along. Would highly recommend and will definitely rent again.

Great stay at Watershed Cottage
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Watershed Cottage. It was a short and easy walk to the beach, also to a small ice cream shop. The property was very clean. The bathrooms are gorgeous and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen is very spacious and they provided every appliance you could need. Wish we stayed longer! Thank you for a fabulous vacation!

Great place!
House is great size and the lay out is perfect. Screened in front porch was a nice added touch. Could use a pull down blind on the front porch in the afternoon though. The full size washer and dryer are nice to have instead of the usual stack unit. Only took a few minutes to walk to the beach and having beach access right there was nice too.

Great place!
My wife and I really enjoyed this property. The house was ultra-clean, almost like new. The living area and kitchen were spacious and with three bedrooms, the place could handle six people easily. A lot of really nice touches from the bathroom/showers to motion lights on the steps. Short walk to the beach (3 blocks), however, Mexico Beach does not allow dogs on the beach but it was an easy drive (~1.5 miles) to St Joe Beach where dogs are allowed on the beach. Please be aware there are still hurricane damaged homes around Mexico Beach so there are some overgrown homes nearby and a lot of construction going on but for us it was not a problem at all. We highly recommend this place and plan to stay here again on our next trip to MB.
