I loved this little cottage and the area. No need for a car, walking distance to everything. Just wished fence was closed off totally so i could let dog out without leash.

Mermaid manor was perfect for us
Easy check in. Good communication, also allowed for a little early of a check-in. Cottage was cute and clean. Loved all the little extra touches including snacks for us and treats for the dogs. If you forgot to bring something, chances are it was there. Laundry on site. Close enough to town to walk. The only possible downside is we have a 3/4 ton diesel truck and the parking spot for us would have been really tight if there had been other people staying at the adjoining properties. There was not anyone else staying so it was not an issue. We would 10/10 stay at mermaid manor again!

Brief getaway
I really enjoyed the Mermaid Manor location. It was exactly as described, warm and cozy. I liked having the Kuerig and small kitchen. One thing I was disappointed about, though, is that the yard was not fenced all the way around, so I wasn't able to let my dog out without watching him. Otherwise, it was great!

Labor Day Weekend Getaway
We’ve been to Port St. Joe several times but this was the first time staying overnight. We highly recommend this cottage. It is well maintained, quaint, quiet and conveniently located. A return stay will definitely be planned. Thank you for your hospitality.

Perfect location
My family visited last minute for a very quick getaway and not only was the location perfect for walking into town, but the apartment exceeded my expectations. Such a cute small space packed a big punch! No details were left out and Raeanna provided everything we needed, even snacks and a coffee. Will definitely return!

I loved this apartment - it was cozy and comfortable and the management left me such a thoughtful welcome gift of sweet treats! I walked the neighborhood and visited the waterfront. I spent a lot of time on the porch reading and it was so relaxing and felt homey.

In love with a mermaid
Oh gosh! We fell in love with Mermaid Manor immediately. It had such warm, inviting character with the comfort of home. Truly enjoyed the screened porch and patio as well. Great location. Quiet, but the singing birds added to the tranquility. It was everything we hoped for with more! Hosts were helpful. Certainly will recommend and not hesitate to stay there again!

It was such a pleasure staying at Mermaid Manor. Way over and above a hotel room. Bed was comfortable and all the small details were covered, from fluffy towels to shampoos, soaps and conditioners (plus a box for any items we may have forgotten). Cold filtered water in fridge was also a plus. Limited kitchen was perfect to fix coffee and breakfast at house before walking into town with our little dog, who by the way loved the soft bed left for him. I would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely stay again on our next visit.

We loved everything about this property! They thought of everything you might need and more! It was clean, cute and felt like home. The location was perfect, walking distance to downtown where we were able to shop and eat wonderful food. We will be back!

Perfect little cottage
Everything was perfect! I loved this little house because she thought of the little things. I bought a beach bag but she had one on the wall for you. There are beach chairs by the washer and dryer. I brought my dog bowls but she has a cute little basket with bowls, dog treats, and a couch cover. But the best part was our electric toothbrush died and she has some extra in the bathroom. The bed is super comfy. The cottage is small yet so roomie!

Beautiful house with a great patio and fire pit
Super close to downtown Port St Joe, adorable home, great hang out spot in the back yard with patio, fire pit, corn hole game, etc. Only one restroom in the unit though, no microwave, no dishwasher, only a small toaster oven. No doors between any of the rooms either, except bathroom. So everyone has to go to sleep and wake up at the same time. It’s also an older home with all-hardwood floors, with another rental unit on top of it. So noisy floors can be a thing that might annoy if you are home often and bothered by that kind of thing. Dog friendly and they even have a little box of doggy stuff if you forgot some things, like a decent size dog bed, some toys, etc… Wi-Fi was very weak signal downstairs because the Wi-Fi router was in the upstairs rental unit and these old houses were not made to let wireless signals pass through them.

Weekend Getaway in Port St Joe
We have a wonderful time at Mermaid Manor. Everything was perfect! Super Dog Friendly ! Zola and Jilly enjoyed it very much. The place is adorable, clean, wonderful. The Hosts are awesome! We plan to come back for more adventures!!!!
