“Really lovely find, lovely property, very clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again. Only issue was trying to find the 'central area' to drop off our rubbish, only bin we could find was behind some barriers, so had to leave it outside the property. “Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

“Beautiful property in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Located on a farm in the Higher Tregawne area. Perfect for a weeks stay, our converted barn was well equipped & had beautiful views across the north Cornish countryside. A nice touch was to find a selection of goodies incl. wine on our arrival. It would have been nice to meet our hosts at least once during our stay but unfortunately this wasn’t to be. Overall though, great value for money & we really enjoyed our stay.”

“Overall the chalet was ok, but it is very dated, the sofa is very old with ripped cushions. The place just smells stale and dated. Having a pound meter in use is very old school and we just don’t carry change very often. So this is a pain. Would we come back.. no.”

We tried to make contact prior to arriving but never got a response so we arrived not knowing if linen and towels were included (frustrating) they are (which was great) Booked unit with washing machine but no washing machine in unit and no on-site laundry facilities. “There are few apartments that can say without bending the truth, or your neck that they have a clear view of Fistral beach; this one does… if you surf you can be on the beach in 2 minutes, if you don’t, you can enjoy the view and watch. Clive and Sue are the epitome of good hosts, their apartment is spotless when you arrive and has a comfortable charm that some don’t bother with.
