A Great Place
Very nice house with all the amenities you would expect.... and MORE! Cabinet full of games and books. There was a large granite bar/table that was the size of a ping-pong table, and we found a net specially for the table... hours of fun. There was a "Welcome" binder with tons of information on things to do in the area, and it included the menus from all the local restaurants. The views from the porch and the comfy chairs was very nice... especially early morning. Beds and pillows super comfortable. A large TV in every room. We brought our own detergent to wash clothes, but they had some there anyway. Fenced yard, BBQ pit, picnic tables, lots of concrete to skate on....lol. The only bad thing was the mosquitos. You could not use the outdoor shower without being attacked. Regular mosquito spray didn't phase them; you need DEET Backwoods like they'd have in the Amazon Rain Forest. We saved money not having to rent a golf cart, because it's a half block to the beach. We used a disc golf cart and carried a cooler, sand castle equipment, towels, etc. When we go back, we'll be trying to get a reservation again at the Flirty Flamingo.

Mardi Gras 2024
Didn’t realize I had booked the trip during their annual Mardi Gras. This was a perfect location, we easily walked to the parade route. Just a girl’s weekend getaway. I would definitely stay here again. Close to good restaurants, Mexican, seafood, burgers.

Just fix the toilets and it would be perfect!
The location and the place were wonderful! The only issue we had is one toilet didn't work and the other tended to run water, needing a "jingle the handle". I reached out, but as I got instructions for "the jingle", I decided it wasn't worth waiting on repair. We had a wonderful time. The deck was AMAZING!!!

November Trip
Everything was as stated. Location was oerfect. We had a couple issues with the bathrooms but they were resovled pretty quickly. It was very cool and rainy so we came home a day early. I guess that is the gamble you take going in November.

Fun Time
The property was great! Very clean, Very roomy, very well-equipped. I had a few nit-picks: 1) the master bed was too tall, it was hard for an old person to get up there and I am 6 feet tall, 2) couldn't figure out how to turn the TV on in the master bedroom ( no problem, just used the living-room TV), 3) sink drain slow in the master bath, even after using the drain declogger that was available, 4) both toilets were difficult to flush (unusual pressure required). Overall it was a great stay. Was impressed with the roominess and the fact that the place was so-well equipped. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is nice, but Vacasa is terrible!
PROS about the house: It’s a great location and only a 2-minute walk to the beach. It has a nice view of the beach from the upper deck and the chairs outside are comfortable. The house has an open floor plan and had all the kitchen appliances and utensils we needed (except scissors, there were no scissors). The master bed is comfortable, but is elevated high off the floor. They provided plenty of dishwasher pods and all the appliances worked well. There is an outdoor shower and water hose which were helpful to get the sand off before entering the house. CONS: The Vacasa team was absolutely terrible. They say they want to help, ask for your patience, then not follow up or follow through on necessary items that need to be addressed. The house is not well maintained by the Vacasa team. I contacted Vacasa at 7:22 am on Monday morning asking for the toilets to be fixed because neither one worked properly. I also asked for the nasty mildew shower curtain to be replaced. They never fixed the problems even though I continuously followed up with them asking for help. Also the underside of the toilet seat was disgusting. I even sent them pictures. Then on Friday, 3.5 hours after we had already checked out, they called to come fix the issues. Also, they don’t tell you where the lock box is that you need to access the house, so I will tell you it’s located downstairs next to the stairs where there are two lock boxes (it’s not the one upstairs near the stairs and side door).

Would Recommend
The place is really nice and basically right on the beach. The view was beautiful from the balcony. I wish they would have covered the front balcony for a little extra shade. The home was clean where it really needed to be but it looked like in certain areas like it has not been dusted in months. I would recommend a new shower head and a door to the shower in master bath. I would also recommend a new lock on the front door along with some curtains to cover the front doors.

Great location. Nice open concept.
Very nice location close to the beach access. Open floor plan. Nice deck. I would recommend adding some window coverings/curtains to the double glass entry doors that can be closed especially at night. With a large rental across the street and the beach access 1 house down it wound be nice to have this privacy added, especially since you have the 2 twin beds near these doors. We could see the neighbors on their deck at night and would prefer not to.
