The perfect spot
If you are looking for a gorgeous, tranquil, cozy yet bright oasis with a sprawling beachside view that will take your breath away and nothing but sand between your toes (literally steps from the deck), the hum of the ocean, a blanket of stars above and a deck that you could stay on forever, look no further. You can walk for miles on the wide-open beach or just sit on the deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. We watched the sunrise every morning from the idyllic private deck (you can also just watch it from the master bedroom if you want to!), and listened to the rhythmic lap of waves. You can lie in the hammocks and stare at the stars until the night fades away. Amy is a perfect host - she is responsive, communicative, kind, professional, and everything about the place was perfect. It is clean, organized, has all the amenities, and tons of charm to boot. We could have stayed so much longer! Will definitely be back…not soon enough!

Relaxation!
Our family enjoyed being steps from the sand and being able to sit on our deck in the hammock and looking at the ocean. It was a quaint place with an incredible location and very close to some great restaurants in Saint Augustine. Amy was a fantastic host and made our trip extremely enjoyable, and even had some snacks and drinks waiting on us when we arrived late in the evening

Last minute beach weekend
Amazing spot in a classic northeast Florida beach house! Literally steps from the beach with every detail taken into account. Between the hammocks, kids beach toys, umbrellas and pack-n-play, this house is perfect for families and friends. Lastly, the hosts were beyond fun and responsive. They truly made our experience unforgettable. We’ll be back!

Great Location
Amy was very helpful and checked in on us to make sure everything was perfect while we were there. We had the beach to ourselves, it was wonderful! We watched the sunrise on the beachside deck and the sunset on the Westside of the deck. Beautiful!

Wonderful Beach House
Amy was a pleasure to meet. She was an attentive host and prompt on communications. Her house is lovely with everything you would need and accommodated us 4 adults just perfectly. You literally walk down 11 steps and you are on a gorgeous beach. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay at Amy's place again.

Great Family Weekend for All Ages
We stayed for a long weekend with our adult son, his wife, 1year old son, and adult daughter. The house, living room, and beds are comfortable, clean, and easily accommodated the whole crew. We had our 1 year old grandson and it was easy to let him run around and play after moving only a few decorations out of his reach. The hostess went above and beyond to provide cute soft new bedding for the pack n play and there was also a high chair for meal times. We loved being able to play on the beach, collect shells, and use all the sand toys and then, when little man got tired, rinse him off in the outdoor shower and lay him down for a nap and adults could still be outside with the travel monitor we brought. Communication with the hostess before, during, and after was easy, thorough, and thoughtful. We’d definitely stay here again!

Peaceful beachside getaway
After a very long drive and late check in, we were greeted by the owner with a generous gift of snacks, cereal, and a sweet beach toy for our 11 month old. Immediately, we knew the owner cared about the property, and us guests having a wonderful, relaxing time. Her communication was above and beyond professional and courteous whenever we had questions. The house itself has been nicely decorated and maintained. It comfortably accommodated four adults and a baby, though there were beds for more kids or adults if necessary. We loved having easy beach access, numerous hammocks for relaxing, and a shower station to rinse off from the beach. The deck is fantastic day or night! With the baby, we cooked and prepared most of our meals with ease, which was important to me. I also appreciated having laundry access, and a sliding door off the master bedroom for early morning quiet time on the deck without disturbing everyone else. This place is great for family and adults alike, but most importantly a great place for a relaxing getaway beachside.

Good Beach House vibe on the Atlantic Shore
The hosts were very good to work with; timely responses and helpful with area resources, etc. The home has a real beach house vibe with great always-on surf views and sounds. Its also a great location to base a good long walk either N or S along the shore. One thing though is that it is listed as 7 beds and there are really 5 with a couple fold-outs that don't measure up to an actual bed and counting an outside shower as a 3rd bedroom is a stretch. Still, the hosts were nice and the stay was enjoyable - the listing's photos show the white interior's beach home feel. We couldn't get the outside lights to work consistently as I'm sure there's a significant salt spray issue but the extra molded chairs provided below the deck came in handy for surf sitting. Both propane tanks (grill, fire pit) were very low so we replaced one with new. We found no bugs inside! Overall a very nice stay we'd consider coming back for.

A Precious Gem!
This place is outstanding! We have stayed at many VRBO places and none of them compare to this one! The owner, Amy, is absolutely wonderful from the time of check-in to the time of check-out. She had goodies and extremely thoughtful items for our stay for the whole family. Amy met us after midnight for check-in and had bought pancake mix and all the fixings for my family for breakfast..... what a sweet and personal touch to this rental. The place is breathtaking! You can literally walk off the deck onto the seashore! We found many shells and shark's teeth right in the backyard of our rental. I could go on and on, but words cannot do it justice for the owner or the place. Thanks Amy for sharing your beautiful rental. We hope to return soon!!!! DeAnn Smith

Wonderful Retreat
My four friends and I had a wonderful time at Serenity Shores. We wanted for nothing as Amy makes sure you are well taken care of. From the get go, Amy was responsive to my questions and any needs we might have. She provides a thoughtful array of treats upon arrival and makes sure all is well during your stay. The house was so comfortable. It was perfect for us to put puzzles together, lounge on the deck to watch amazing sunrises and sets, hang out on the beach, and grill out. The large screen TV in the living area made for great Olympic game watching. We appreciated the well supplied kitchen, especially the wine refrig/cooler. The house was spotless and stocked with soap, paper products, and a sundry of items like first aid kits, sun lotion, electric. Beds were very comfortable and there was a good supply of towels and beach towels. What we enjoyed the most was the feeling like we were on a private beach. We had the beach behind the house to ourselves. The last day we had a private dolphin show. South Ponte Vedra is a great location. Publix was about 10 min away and it was about a 20 min drive to historical St Augustine. You can head north to Ponte Vedra for Target/regular shopping needs. Only recommendation I would make is to try to secure reservations for restaurants ahead of time on weekends. The surrounding places get extremely crowded this time of year, which is to be expected. Amy is happy to suggest some great places. Looking forward to planning a return trip!

The perfect getaway
Our family of 5 just returned from our stay at Serenity Shores and want to turn around and re-check in! We spent the days alternating between beach (which is literally steps away-no streets to cross, no long dunes to cross) and relaxing inside for lunchtime, and back to the beach. We swam, found shells and shark teeth, made sandcastles, and checked on the progress of the many turtle nests scattered up and down the beach. We watched pelicans diving for food and dolphins making there way along the shoreline. The view from the living room/dining room/kitchen area (which is open and airy) was amazing from all sides. The ocean on one side and the preserve (with great sunsets) on the other. The view from the master bedroom makes it easy to wake up (especially when the kids are ready to go to the beach at 7am 😁). It’s beautiful. St. Augustine is very close, but we never left the house (except to go to the grocery store which is about 10 minutes away). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, there was a working grill, and laundry. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and ready to go. Finally, I have never been treated so well by a host! I feel like I am friends with Amy at this point! We were delayed in our arrival due to an accident on I-95, but she made sure we arrived safely and checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. They left the grownups a bottle of wine and enough coffee to survive anything. For the kids, they left some inflatable floats and small toys for their enjoyment. The gesture just made you feel taken care of, which is a nice feeling when on vacation. We all highly recommend Serenity Shores. It’s easy to get to, right on the beach but also close to a fun town. This is a place we would definitly return to!

Serenity Shores- the name says it all...
Twelve little steps to your own little 'peace' of heaven. Beautiful shells, sea turtle nests all around, dolphins were actually just a few feet away from the shore one day! And the view from the house is AMAZING when you can't be on the beach. The owners have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and hope that your stay is wonderful. Even text messages to check on you! You will also be close to St. Augustine if you would like to go visit historic downtown, or tour the Fort. Our girls also went to the lighthouse- and we even went on a ghost tour! The only thing I would have changed is I wish we could have stayed longer!!! We left relaxed and recharged!! Thank you so much, Amy ❤

The view was absolutely amazing, the fishing was great my husbands and sons caught small (baby) sharks and a sting ray along with many other fish. We found tons of shark teeth and sea glass!! We drove 16 hours from Michigan to stay at this beautiful house and it was totally worth the drive! Amy really made you feel welcome and checked in on us via text to see if we needed anything threw out our stay. We can not wait to come back to Amy’s place next time we are in this area of Florida!!

What a lovely experience we had at Serenity Shores! Amy was so helpful with all my questions and getting back to me right away. The check in process was easy and we enjoyed meeting and chatting with Amy. She had all kinds of little treats and gifts for us waiting! The description and pictures of the property are spot on! It is such a calming retreat with the color scheme and beautiful decor, comfortable furniture and beds, personal touches everywhere and of course the amazing view! We didn't want to leave. Amy really does a great job of making her guests feel welcome and pampered! She had everything we needed there! The location was great. A short drive in either direction to Publix. There were also plenty of restaurants in either direction. The beach was very uncrowded and we found tons of sharks teeth and sea glass. I would highly recommend this wonderful place! We had all ages of kids from 22-11 and all had a wonderful time. Of course they fought over the hammocks! But there are 4 of them!! So enjoyable. Sunrises and sunsets are also stunning. On our last morning there we watched the sunrise and the dolphins play! It was a fabulous experience! Will definitely return! Many thanks!

Beautiful house!
This home has unbeatable views and beach access! We had such a wonderful time at this home and the host went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Definitely recommend!
