“This property is beautiful! The house is very clean and comes with all the things required to make your stay comfortable. The hosts Gus and Gert are so friendly and helpful. They gave me good directions to their place when I was lost. (Just a tip for anyone going here if you cross a big bridge over the water you went too far and will end up in Cheticamp) The view is stunning! Make sure to look at the stars at night. They are wonderful. We made smores by the fire and had an overall great time.”

“The Margaree Valley is visually stunning and no more than in Autumn with the leaves changing colour. The property is located on the river with a very easy walk down to the Boars Back Salmon pool. The accommodation was first rate. WiFi and cell coverage 4 bars good. Very comfortable beds. Owners were charming and immediately answered any questions we had. No hesitation in recommending this spot.”

“We had a great stay. Easy access to the Cabot Trail. The cabin had everything you needed. It was beautifully decorated and clean. Lovely screened in porch to sit out at night. The was also a fire pit area for everyone to enjoy. The host was easy to get a hold of and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this cabin for a stay.”

“We stayed here two short nights and we’re already planning a trip back in the fall to see the colours on Cape Breton. The owner met us as we arrived and we proceeded to get a brief tour of the property. They have thought of everything! Comfortable, functional yet stylish - the design aesthetics are beautiful and clearly considered throughout. We loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. Beautiful sunsets. “My family and I booked this charming cottage for 4 nights. It was very clean and welcoming. This little gem is located in front of the ocean and minutes away from the main st of Chéticamp. If you are looking to enjoy the trails and the maritime lifestyle, I would definitely recommend this cottage.”
