Such a nice house! Lots of bedrooms, roomy master bedroom with its own bathroom. Big common space living room/ dining room and a well- appointed kitchen. We loved the outside spaces: front porch with good chairs and a side porch with a table and grill; on the ground level covered patio space with chairs. Out on the lawn, a fire pit with chairs. So much to do here in the game room on the ground floor!
Be aware that hottest days of summer may be challenging. We went in July; the central AC wasn’t able to keep the main living floor comfortable. Temp inside rose to 80-83 during the afternoon. The ceiling fan helped as did the many windows. We would retreat to the ground floor’s game room and bedroom where it stays cool, or to the master bedroom with its own window AC, or just go outside to swim or stay in the shade. I think it would probably be fine during cooler days in fall, winter or spring.
Like many Poconos multistory homes there are a lot of steps to get up to the main floor, so this might be challenging vacation rental for an older family member with mobility issues. if you and the kids are in average fitness, though, it’s no problem. Really comfy couches everywhere!
Nice touches: they had little hotel-style shampoo, conditioner and soap; a drip coffee maker AND a single-serving K-cup coffee maker: an inflatable kayak and a bike.
Really big, pet-friendly and comes with a lot of options to keep everybody happy. For families with kids - especially large numbers - just pick a cooler season of year and it’s perfect.
