Encantadora casa de botes antiguos ubicada directamente en Long Pond. Alojamiento tranquilo y silencioso con 180 vistas. Observe a las águilas calvas y águilas pescadoras americanas buscar peces al atardecer desde su terraza privada que se extiende sobre el estanque. Long Pond es una recreación completa y hay kayaks disponibles. The boat house was wonderful. It was perfect for me, right on Long Pond, everything I needed, within distance of all the places I went, the fall foliage was lovely and Lynn was fabulous.

Amazing retreat!
My husband and I spent five nights on this amazing boathouse. It was so quiet, peaceful, and picturesque. It was A great location as we went on day trips to Cape Cod, Boston, and Salem. Our host kindly greeted us upon arrival and gave us great information about the area. After that we had the privacy we had been looking forward to. My only regret is that we did not get to stay longer To wake up to the incredible views of the lake in the morning.

Perfect!
I loved staying in the boathouse! It was just what I needed for my writing retreat. Sitting on the dock with my morning coffee, taking a swim or going out in the kayak--it was all so refreshing and rejuevenating. Unplugging from TV and wifi took a minute, but it was so worth it. Lynn was a gracious host, very responsive. I'd love to come back!

Massachusetts tour
This is a convenient location to all the places on our list! First day explored Plymouth. 2nd day drove into Boston to Fenway park for the best game ever! Lots of home runs! 3rd day we drove cape cod! 4th day we took ferry to Martha’s Vineyard & did the bus tour. Last day we took commuter train from Kingston to south station. Visited the north end & did hop on hop off bus for Boston tour- great! Ate breakfast at the house each day enjoying the view!

Delightful!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming little cottage on Long Pond. The owners are wonderful people and were very helpful and kind to us. The cottage is clean, quaint, and comfortable. The pond is crystal clear and as peaceful as can be. We're looking forward to going back again!

Bliss on a lake
This lovingly repurposed boat house is a little slice of heaven. You're so close to the water, on top of it really it's like being on a boat. It's tiny but was perfect for two... and the large deck and the beach were great to lounge on. Would love to go back in the fall, when the leaves start to change. Excellent bird watching too.

Anniversary Getaway
Absolutely loved our stay. The pictures are spot on except the water is even prettier!! The owners Lynn and Jack were super friendly, accomodating and made us feel at home! Perfect getaway to celebrate our 27th anniversary.

Boathouse
Lynn was very easy to work with and communicate with. The pond was clean and large enough to explore by kayak. The only downsides are the size of the bathroom ( think boat) and privacy, as you need to park by the owner’s home and walk through their yard to get to boat house.

Nice boat house with a nice lake
The boat house is right on the water front shore not in the water so it is very stable. There is a deck above the water however. The house is suitable for a small family vacation. Plymouth is very close to cape Cod. The hosts are the best.

Perfect for two!
My husband and I spent a relaxing long weekend in this unique little boathouse. Two days were spent kayaking and enjoying the views from our deck and the third we headed into Plymouth ( 15 minute drive ). We chose to stay in for our early meals and enjoyed our dinners at Rye, Black Lantern Tavern and Surfside Smokehouse, which were a quick car ride away. Sadly the rain prevented us from walking the nearby trails but a good book, a deck of cards, and a few games of checkers made for a pleasant passage of time. Lynn greeted us, explained what was needed and, although the hosts are also on the property, allowed us our privacy. It was obvious that if we needed anything, they would have been very accomodating. So glad we found this gem!

The Boathouse
My wife and I stayed for a few nights in July of 2024. Super relaxing which is exactly what we were looking for. In the woods right on the water all kinds of wildlife quiet no one bothering you. AC kept the house nice and cool Spent a lot of time on the deck looking at the pond(large pond more like a lake) The hosts were great didn’t see much of them after arriving nice people left us alone. Would definitely come back Perfect for a couple nice kitchen great views from inside Deck right on the water Bathroom is small but served it’s purpose Did I mention wonderful views!!!!! Visit if you can!

Amazing location, directly on the lake. Absolutely beautiful. Very clean, large , quiet lake. Must stay. Small beach front to hang out with dock that works well for fishing or hanging. Right across the street from location are beautiful hiking trails with lots of wild life. Host were very kind and accommodating.

Best Gift I give to Myself
My 5th time staying. I gift myself a stay at this cottage twice a year . If you love waking up to the sunrise over a beautiful pond..if you love watching the fish jump in the eve just before sunset..if you love listening to the incredible variety of birds songs and watch waterfowl go about their routines: this cottage stay is for you ! Fishing off the dock,kayaking ( kayaks provided )launching from your own beach , Miles of walking trails around other ponds and woods.just step out the door. this restored antique boathouse is my retreat. as soon as i step into it,i feel restored myself. id like to point out that i travel/stay alone and as a single older woman , it is very important to feel safe while staying at a place . Ive stayed 5 times with plans for a 6th..Best retreat experience i can ever ask for. Stacey

A Perfect Get-Away Spot
We couldn't be happier with our stay at the Boathouse -- sturdy little cottage on a beautiful lake, spotless rooms, comfy beds, creatively decorated. Close enough to Cape Cod and major attractions, but away from tourist congestion. The Boathouse was the best part of our trip!

Perfect!!!
We are ages 89 and 84 and this is the very best place we have ever stayed on vacation!!!!!! Over the years we have stayed at dozens of cottages all over New England. The boat house is our very favorite place and we are hoping to stay again next year!!! You step out of the living room right onto the dock where you can fish a few feet from the door. Lynn and Jack were wonderful hosts. Everything was immaculate and the boat house had everything you could possibly need. On a scale of one to ten, we give it 100. Bob and Joyce
