Not Worth The Price- Property needs better care
The cottage itself is cute, bed was comfortable came for the TRF. But, was not clean. The pitcher to rinse for the bath looked like it was filled with spitoon gunk. Lights in the livingroom went out after the first night. Had to use the spotty restaurant wifi to access the tv as the property doesn't have its own. I hope in the future they use the 125 a night for a maid, an electrician and to get their own wifi so folks can actually enjoy the nice cottage.

Not the worst. Certainly not the best.
While I understand the property is old, it doesn’t omit the fact that it could be better. I was looking forward to taking a bubble bath, but there were stains in the tubs. There were also some residue in the toilet (yuck), and a spider nest on the stained wall. The property is also located near where they host weddings, and our parking spot was occupied due to a reception when we returned from the Texas Renaissance Festival (TRF). If you’re planning to go to TRF all day like us and just need a nearby place to crash for the night because you don’t want to drive all the way back home, the place is great because it’s only 10 mins away from TRF, but don’t expect anything else spectacular.

Weekend Stay
The cabin was such a lifesaver in the Texas humidity and heat. We were here for the Texas RenFest and we only were in the cabin for sleeping. Two tubs, no shower. Weird but fun if you have a spouse. The AC worked and we had a refrigerator and microwave. There was a wedding on site while we were there, no issues. Thanks y'all.

Close to the TRF
Although this is less than 10 minutes from the Texas Renaissance Festival, it was very dirty and most things are not functioning. Doors did not lock, bed sheets were dusty, it was hard to tell if the towels had been washed, etc. it was not worth the cost. There was road noise but not too bad if you are not a light sleeper. There is no shower, only slightly rusty bathtubs.with faucets that shoot water everywhere.

We booked for two nights, but left after one night. The TV would not turn on. The sound of the traffic on the freeway kept us up all night . There were birds in the chimney that kept us up all night . Good location to get to the winery but would not stay here again
