“The host was very friendly and this spot was perfect for us for the night. Quiet and close to the event we were in town to see. It was hot but had hookups so we enjoyed the AC in our camper until it cooled down enough to open up windows. Such a lovely little town. We'll be back next year!”

“The room was very clean and spacious with nice amenities. The restaurant had great food and friendly service. The only complaints were the heater wasn’t working in our room, even though they tried to fix it, and our room was very close to the front desk so it was noisy. We did get an extra blanket and if I would have thought of it, I could have brought ear plugs!!! The views were spectacular!”

“This is a very nice accommodation for a short stay especially. It is very small, and downstairs with no bore to outside. The back yard though with flower garden and chickens is delightful. Inside, it is one of the cleanest we have been in. And thoughtfully furnished. “When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house!
