“Villa Elisa is a beautiful house in a fantastic town. It’s a perfect location if you plan to hike The Path of the Gods. It’s also a great location if you’re looking for a quiet town in the hills with great restaurants. An important point of clarification - in the property listing it states that it is 9 minute drive to Amalfi beach. This is not accurate. It is at least 30 minutes by bus and a taxi is about 90 euros. “This was a really lovely guest / farmhouse experience. The room was clean and tidy and perfectly suited for our need of day-tripping the Amalfi region with a car. The grounds were delightful with lots of produce being grown which was all used in the simple but wonderful breakfast that was served each day. Staff were lovely and we spoke several times with the owner and got lots of good advice for seeing the region. Make sure to say hello to the tortoise!”
