The property was great and matched the listing details. The outside space was awesome. The house comfortably accommodated our group of 6 adults and 4 children. It was well appointed with linens, towels, cookware, dishes, etc. Neighbourhood was quiet and location was close to plenty of grocery stores, Costco, restaurants, etc. only a 20 minute walk to surprise stadium. Our biggest disappointment was regarding the Pool Heater and the lack of effort provided by Vacasa to rectify. We requested pool heat well in advance and was charged the heating fee prior to arrival. When we arrived the pool was cold and the heater was not running. We identified an error code on the heater which I communicated to the property manager. Over the next 4 days I was in contact with Vacasa awaiting someone to come and rectify. On the 4th day someone came and we were told parts were required and it likely wouldn’t be fixed, our payment was refunded but we were more interested in having the heater repaired. I was skeptical that the heater couldn’t be repaired as it appeared to be a simple temperature sensor needing replacement. On the 10th and final night of our stay the pool guy showed up and claimed he had just received the call out an hour prior. Within 10 minutes he had the heater repaired with what he explained was a very common part and readily available. This was very frustrating, if the request was addressed in the first day or so it would have significantly changed our vacation. We had four kids who spent more time looking at the pool rather than playing in it. This could have all been prevented with proper follow up from the property management group. I would certainly recommend this property, but would be very hesitant to rent another property managed by Vacasa.
