Overall, this property is very nice. The house seems to be recently updated and it is in a convenient location to restaurants, grocery stores, Old Town, the interstate, etc. The kitchen had some conveniences but it wasn't the most stocked rental we've been in. We had to run the dishwasher several times to have enough glasses. There weren't any "extras" - kitchen towels, games or a deck of cards, or yard games would have been nice.
Our main issue with this rental was the pool and the lack of communication from the property management company. We arrived on a Sunday and could tell walking into the backyard that the pool wasn't working and hadn't been running for some time. It was green along the walls and filled with debris. I called Vacasa and after waiting on hold for 20 minutes, they informed me the local property manager would be contacted, they would call me, and the issue would be resolved. After 24 hours and no response, I spent the next 24 hours texting with them and Vacasa claiming they were waiting for the local property manager to respond. Finally, Tuesday afternoon, I was able to get a actual response from Vacasa and found out the homeowner knew the pool pump was broken but hadn't done anything about it. On Wednesday morning, the local property manager called and said the pool service would be out that day to look at it and it would be replaced on Thursday. We never saw or heard from anyone the rest of the time we were there. We left Saturday morning and the pool pump hadn't been replaced and the pool had not been cleaned.
We were extremely in the response from Vacasa and the fact we weren't told before we arrived that the pool wasn't working. The pool was the main reason we chose this rental. If the pool was in working order, I would have give this rental more stars.
