“Very nice room in an excellent location. The nearby Maritime Museum is a must and numerous restaurants and pubs are within easy walking distance. Parking is a problem. On street parking between 9 and 5 is expensive and a new ticket must be purchased every 2 hours. Remote parking is available with a once a day ticket, but is not exactly easy to locate and very busy during the day with very few available slots. ”

“We had a great time during out 3 night stay at The Esplanade, it is a beautiful building with lots of choice as far as spending time in the bars, restaurants or poolside. The room was stock standard, nothing over the top special, but the bed was very comfortable, it was very roomy. I liked the option to not have the room serviced in exchange for a credit on stay, what a great incentive and makes perfect sense. The bathroom shower floor looked like it needed a good scrub but other than that...

“Overall good. The very spacious unit could do with some upgrading- e.g. kitchen sink faucet is dodgy, carpet badly stained in places. Some additional crockery and cutlery would be useful and avoid using the dishwasher with a very small load. Accessing the property by car is tricky but quite well located although not within walking distance of Freo centre.”
