We enjoyed this Guesthouse immensely! It was close to town, making the city walkable, near bus stops to catch Hop-on-and-off Bus, or walk to the Harbor. It was clean, easy to find, and very comfortable! Shared bathrooms, but very clean too. We will use again!

We spent about 3 hours here before heading to the airport on our last day. This was absolutely amazing. It provided such rich insight into the geological phenomena that make Iceland so unique... the ice cave and the Northern Lights show were amazing. I think it's the perfect way to begin or end a trip to Iceland.

We LOVED The Pearl; we walked to it from the hotel which was a pretty good hike, uphill. We spent quite a bit of time there on a Sunday afternoon and it was one of the better things to do in the city.

Great natural history museum. We experienced the Aurora via the planetarium. It was well done. There is also a mand-made ice cave and a great puffin display. It kind of made up for us not being able to see things things for real. Great for kids. Also, the arcitecture of the buildings is very interesting. WWII fuel tanks. A good area for history buffs.
