We found the Peggys Cove House absolutely stunning and exactly as advertised. The house has fantastic views of the famous Peggys Cove on the south side and up the rugged Nova Scotia coast to the north. Sun-sets to the West were 100% unspoilt and spectacular. I couldn't believe the reflections coming off the water in the evening. The house is newly redone to perfection with a design that suits a 200-year-old fishing village. The property's three acres had lots of private outdoor space for view-watching, sunning and wandering around unseen. Peter gave us a great tour of the house when we arrived and helped us get going with everything we needed, including the obligatory Atlantic Canada lobster cooking pot. I would not expect to find any swimming spots near this area as we are talking about the open Atlantic Ocean here. From the house, you can just hear the whistle of the Peggys cove security guard warning tourists from being swept out off the coastal rocks. To eat, we recommend the Bubba Bistro. From the outside, it looks kind of closed, but inside, it is nicely done with tasty food. Jannet and the staff were very kind to us.
