“Hotel muy bien ubicado para hacer la ruta del desembarco de Normandia. La recepción del hotel no esta atendida, ya que el personal esta en el bar dando las comidas o cenas. Personal amable, el desayuno no merece la pena cogerlo, no ponen nada mas que cafe expresso y 3 lochas de jamon york y unos trozos de pan por un precio cada uno de 12€. La comida del restaurante tampoco merece la pena y ademas es caro. Merecen la pena las vistas desde la habitación ”

The only hitch was that when we arrived, the driveway gate was locked and when we rang the bell it was some time before it was opened. It turned out neither of the hosts was there, but the husband host’s niece was. She was very nice but it wasn’t clear she was expecting us. We had been told to expect the husband. “Stunningly quaint and relaxing! Felt like I was at my mom's farm house. This is the best VRBO experience I've ever had. Ségolène and Luis are amazing, attentive and friendly hosts. They have restored everyrhing themsleves - balancing the history of a place built in the late 1790s without making the property too modern or old feeling. Jumbo the dog is a bonis!
