The hill getting up to the property was steep, but it was the summer so there were no issues in a typical car. The views from the deck were awesome, we sat out there often enjoying a meal or morning coffee. “This cabin was excellent! It was accurately describe. Actually, it was better. It was clean and cozy. The view on the back porch was great and we had some really relaxing mornings with our books and coffee. We had our dogs with us and they loved to run around the pond. At night it gets so dark with absolutely no light pollution so you can see the stars perfectly. We hope to be able to come back next year and enjoy another relaxing weekend. This was the best getaway from our busy lives. ”

“Roger and Mary are great hosts! This is a relaxing, nature filled sanctuary with beautiful grounds & most amazing reflective stocked pond. “We had a 4 person motorcycle trip, and this particular venue worked perfect. Right off HWY 7 with ample, flat parking, and quick access to the rooms. The option to add rooms within the same complex was very nice. There was also two fans available in the laundry room to dry out our gear after the long wet ride, and it was much appreciated. Great host, and great location.”

“We loved staying at the cabin! Perfect size for a family of 4. Decorated beautifully with rustic charm.Was greeted with a gift basket of snacks. Host provided paper plates, bowls, napkins and plastic utensils.Grill on site, kayaks, life jackets and a paddle boat was available to us which we made use of. Host was wonderful to work with, excellent communication when asked a question.We will be staying here again!!”

“Great flat in the heart of town. Close to everything: restaurants, shopping, farmer's market, etc. The flat was well equipped for our long weekend stay, with a large kitchen, comfy beds, and a nice bathroom. I was especially thankful that the air conditioning worked so well, given that it was typical hot August weather. The owner was quick to respond and helpful when I had questions. I will definitely recommend to anyone staying in Marietta!”

“This was a very spacious apartment with windows and full deck access from both the main room and the bedroom. The unit was clean and well-appointed with a large kitchen and main room. It is a short walk to restaurants and about a mile to the charming downtown. The host was very responsive when I reached out. This is one of the nicest VRBOs I've stayed in and I will definitely choose this one again when I'm in the area.”
