“Loved our stay at this lovely home- so convenient and quiet! It had a fabulous dock for our 26 foot boat as well as our friends 21 foot boat. The accommodation was comfortable and well appointed. The host was quick to respond and very helpful. Plenty of parking was available and it’s great that it is so close to Gal’s and Foxy’s Restaurant. ”

“So happy we chose this rental. We brought our own boat from VA. The marina is literally next door, opposite canal side from row of boathouse. The elevator/lift made bringing in luggage a breeze- carts available too. Close walk to town and on quiet street. Super comfortable furnishings, clean and fresh rooms towels linens, nautical touches throughout you really feel immersed in ‘The River’ life. The town of Alexandria was very cute, most things were closing for the season but we did still get to experience the boat tour, do some shopping and eat at a few local places. This is a great location, only a short walk or quick ride to all the restaurants, The property has many extras including canoes, grills, pool and a beautiful area for outdoor camp fires and lounging. “This home is wonderful. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. My daughters were fighting over who was going to sleep in the "secret nook" on the top floor. Both bathrooms were large and well equipped. The kitchen / living room area was huge and made for a perfect area to congregate with family. “Everything from finding the place, to check in, to proximity to activities was great! We didn’t need anything from the hosts during our stay but they were very responsive before hand! The place was great for hanging out during the time we spent inside. Beds were not the most comfortable, and you have to take every piece of garbage with you when you leave which was hard since we were coming from out of town, but we made it work! We had a wonderful time and would return. ”
