Had to Cancel
We didn't see the property because we had to cancel due to a medical problem. I did not like that my booking did not show cancelled on the VRBO site, nor through your communications. I did cancel and I knew I still would be charged; no problem, the rules were clear. But I still received all of the check in information and correspondence; automated and annoying. All this made it more challenging to get my trip insurance refunded. I also really don't like that I still paid a cleaning fee that wasn't needed. Also, once I cancelled, the correspondence changed from being address to my name to customer or VRBO Customer. Not user friendly and very impersonal. I'll definitely opt for an owner managed property in the future.
