Not a great experience
Let me start with we came off of a rough hotel stay that couldn’t get AC working so we were excited to be in a house. Showed up and all fire detectors as well as panel were beeping, tried to get someone to come change because 10ft ceiling and no ladder in sight but it was after hours so they asked us to deal with it. Reset it but it was incessant and we ended up having to change it ourselves by standing on furniture. Ok, past that, freezer beeping bc of water filter. Ok buy bags of ice. Day two, no hot water. Notified Vacasa team we were only able to do 2 showers max and they said they would deal with it but no one showed up then told us, hey there is a planned power outage so you are going to have to find something to do from 8-2. So we shower in the cold and regroup about the house we rented for a pretty high amount. Find an activity and come back to ice water after hours again so no help in sight. We then get given the code to check on the hot water heater which was BEEPING and had an error code. Reset and waited, checked it every couple of hours and just quit trying to use Vacasa to help. Lots of scuffs, poorly maintained showers(bench in master is wiggling and going to come down any day) half the faucets are broken and spin and won’t work or can’t get hot because the handles are broken.Terrible experience in that unit. Told we would be discounted and refunded for batteries (I know it was a very nominal cost) but saw neither happen. Pretty awful all the way around.
