El diseño de la casa es muy abierto y permite la máxima iluminación natural, y la brisa, así como espectaculares vistas al mar ya la montaña desde todas las habitaciones.

La planta principal cuenta con una gran sala de estar y cocina abierta que tanto el flujo a la zona fuera del comedor puerta y terraza con vistas a la piscina y vistas al mar increíble!

Hay dos baños y medio sobre el nivel escaleras abajo, uno en el salón y otro acceso por la zona de comedor al aire libre. En la planta baja también incluye áreas de lavandería y almacenamiento.

La segunda planta cuenta con otro gran salón y T. V, así como el dormitorio principal, con cubierta de gran tamaño, walk in closets y "en suite" cuarto de baño, y construido en "fuente de agua", una cascada que fluye que cae del segundo piso de la casa a la piscina a continuación proporcionando un efecto cascada.

Los dos dormitorios adicionales arriba también cuentan con excelentes vistas y la iluminación, uno de los dormitorios cuenta con piso a techo puertas que se abren a la cubierta de gran tamaño deslizante, ideal para la lectura de relajarse y disfrutar de la brisa constante y excelentes vistas!

Comfort and Adventure
Luxurious home situated in a location perfect for those looking for adventure or to just chill out. We did both! Carlos was extremely helpful and communicative. He signed us up for a couple very memorable tours that were super fun and within a 15 minute drive from the house. An easy 10 minute walk down to the secluded beach was always rewarded with sightings of monkeys and exotic birds…not to mention the warm calm surf of the beach itself. Check this place out for yourself if you have the chance. It’s worth it.

Not a luxury property anymore
While this property has some nice features, to call it a “luxury” property is a misrepresentation. The reason we chose Carlos’ place over all the other properties was because of the numerous shining reviews. We thought if the reviews and pictures were that great, how could we go wrong? We hate to say it, but this property did not live up to the either. Despite its good qualities, we were overall disappointed with It and feel that the great reviews are not quite accurate. The current state of the house is quite run down. The linens and upholstered furniture photographed are not what are currently in the house. The upstairs couch was so old and soiled we had to put sheets over it to sit on it. Sheets are old and stained and coverlets are old ill-fitting blankets. Closet shelves are broken and just laying on the floor and cabinet doors are falling off the hinges. The outdoor furniture on the yoga deck was incredibly dirty and not well-maintained. The indoor screens to the balcony were slit and tattered. There were insect cocoons nestled in all the curtains (no curtains pictured in photos). The listing photos seem to have been taken a very long time ago. Also, we were alarmed with the amount of insects infesting the house. My wife and I live in San José and we have previously lived in Africa (we are no strangers to this climate and the accompanying insects). That being said, the house was crawling with all the insects of the jungle. When we arrived, there were ants swarming all over the kitchen counters and the fridge. They were in the beds and on the nightstands. The bathtub looks really nice on the listing photos, but in reality it was constantly covered in ants. We alerted Carlos right away and he said he was aware of the ant situation in the kitchen but the previous two occupants had not complained about it. He said we were welcome to have the house fumigated (not an option, as we have three young children) or to buy ant traps (we did but it didn’t help). Doors and window frames had huge gaps allowing passage for all sorts of insects. Despite the condition of the interior of the house, the view was not disappointing - it was spectacular. The pool was fantastic. Carlos was a wonderful help when it came to booking excursions. The bioluminescent kayak tour was fun and unique. The highlight was our children getting to help release baby turtles not once, but twice from the local beach. Curu preserve was also nice.

Idyllic Setting with Exceptional Host
The title perhaps says it all... I wanted to provide a review for Carlos and his amazing service before we even started our vacation. His detailed information and patient guidance about ferry schedules, 4x4 rental, excursions, and COVID testing were very helpful. The home is exquisite and it has a million dollar view. We had wonderful visits from local animals (howler monkeys, sunbathing iguanas, and even a curious coatimundi!), frequent dips in the perfect pool, and the most beautiful sunrises and starlit skies at night. The kitchen was well equipped (including a water filter and ice maker in the fridge and a delightful juicer that inspired my next purchase at home)! The drive up is an adventure, and we are *very* thankful that Carlos insisted we rent a 4x4! We did a few of the excursions he recommended, including the bioluminescent kayak tour and Isla Tortuga with Bahia Rica - they were wonderful and memorable! We also had *great* ceviche and arroz con calamar at Liz/Macho's in Paquera, bought seafood at the restaurant on the right at Playa Organos, and ate lunch one day at the restaurant on the left with a view of the beach. We were looking for a peaceful, remote, nature-filled, and beautiful location for our family vacation with three young adult children and had such a great time that we did not want to leave. Thank you to Carlos and his team for a memorable experience and exceptional service! We have already recommended to all of our friends and WILL be back!

Wonderfull Week in the Jungle
The property is amazing with a stunning view of Tortuga Island and the surrounding ocean. It is secluded but not far enough away from the small town of Paquera to make it difficult to get supplies or visit nearby restaurants/activities. Carlos goes all in with his guests by providing you all the contacts and information you need to stay super busy doing fun things if that is what you are after. He checks on you throughout the trip to make sure you have what you need and all your questions are answered. Not sure which is better....Carlos or the house, but both are pretty spectacular. Paquera while not a sprawling metropolis is charming in a special way. Very friendly people and you can find anything you need during your stay. I am a spoiled American who definitely takes for granted all we have here in the States that you live with daily and never take the time to notice. What Paquera lacks in riches it makes up for with the beautiful landscapes, the people and their culture. I certainly learned a few lessons about life during my short stay. Can't wait to go back.

Owner was the best part!
This house is in the jungle! It is secluded! For us, it was perfect. We went on daily hikes (just down the driveway!) The house was just as advertised however the best part was the owner! He booked great excursions, recommended the best restaurants, the service was better than 5 star! And the onsite guy, Ivan!!!! OMG...I cant say enough about him - Amazing! Ivan doesnt speak english but we used google translate to talk and it worked just fine! We took 3 kids, ages 11, 9 and 2. They all had a great time! Walking up and down the driveway we saw monkeys and lizards and all kinds of bugs! It was really a jungle experience for the kids. A must was the refuge with Milton. He was a great tour guide and kept the attention of the 2 older kids. They ate fruit from trees, got to learn about all the animals, saw a wild bore, deer, monkeys....I mean we saw it all! All arranged by the owner, Carlos! Nothing negative to say!

One of our favorite family vacations!! Spectacular!
If you’re considering this home, don’t hesitate! Not only do you get phenomenal views of the water and the mountains, but you’ll be sure to see monkeys and scarlet macaws as well! The longer we were there the more we fell in love with Pequera and all there was to offer! Carlos was an absolute blessing and arranged all of our trips and was SO helpful! We had surf lessons, went zip lining, had massages and a meal prepared in the home, we went charter fishing and on a bioluminescent kayak tour, the list goes on! We were an easy drive to Tambor, Montenzuma and Santa Teresa and checked out the areas and had a wonderful experience with Carlos giving suggestions. The only small thing would be to have the laundry area and some of the corners deep cleaned. But I am a total neat freak, so this may not be a big deal for others. We returned home today and already we miss Bellevue on Costa Rica.... Pura Vida is t just a saying, it’s truly their way of life! Thanks so much Carlos for helping us create a vacation of EPIC proportion!

Absolute Paradise
We had high expectations heading to Costa Rica for the first time. From vehicle rental to the ferry ride it was all new to us, luckily Carlos was amazing and was always willing and eager to help. We arrived late at night and were greeted by an enthusiastic staff member who guided us up to the mountain side property. Although unable to see the view at the late hour, the home itself was enough of a view to keep us occupied and intrigued for the night. The house is such a grand and open concept it makes you feel comfortable, safe and relaxed. In the morning when the sun came up, our family was left speechless with the breath taking view from any window within the home and any corner from outside the home. The house really makes you feel connected to nature, from the sounds of animals in the jungle just feet away to the ocean crashing into the shore that can be watched all day long. All rooms are beautifully furnished and had all the amenities we needed, whatever we did not have Carlos had staff promptly deliver said item. Groceries were also easy and enjoyable to obtain, the town of Paquera was a short drive through the jungle away and the people there are amazingly friendly...not to mention they have some of the best fresh fruits and seafood I’ve had the pleasure of tasting! The beach is an even shorter drive away where the ocean water is refreshing and calmingly warm and the waves are sure to excite! Throughout our trip to paradise we had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with Ivan, Milton, Thomas, (another) Carlos, Louis and many many more friendly , knowledgeable and amazing staff. Each one of them made our family get away all the more special and memorable. From jungle waterfalls, surfing and learning about jungle wildlife to waking up to the sunrise beaming through the beautiful big bedroom windows and while hearing the waves crashing, we really have nothing but great things to say about Carlos and his beautiful property. I also forgot to mention the pool on the property that gets a perfect amount of sun and shade throughout the day to cool off from the hot sun! I’m sure that when you stay at this heaven on earth property you will not be disappointed!

We got married on the beach and spent our honeymoon in Costa Rica. Carlos was a wonderful host. He made sure we had everything at our fingertips that we wanted. He had Alex meet us in town and show us how to get to the villa. Carlos had fresh fruit, wine and beer in the refrigerator waiting for us. If we needed anything Carlos would send someone to meet our needs or wants. We had his chef come into our home the day of the wedding to make us a Costa Rican gourmet dinner. It was amazing! The kitchen is stocked with any appliances you might need. Carlos arranged for a water taxi for us to go to a romantic moon lit dinner on an island. 💕 The view from the home is spectacular!! We loved that the area was not to heavily busy with tourists when we went. We sat out on the decks in the morning and evenings and saw many different birds and howler monkeys in the trees around the home. This is by far the best VRBO home I have stayed in. Make sure you get a 4 wheel drive vehicle and leave plenty of time for travel We can not wait to go back. Thank you Carlos for sharing your home with us. . Pura Vida!!!

Amazing Stay
What an amazing spot! It’s just what my family of 5 likes...remote and quiet, but with still plenty to do in the area. The house was perfect for our needs, with great views and a terrific staff to make sure our stay was perfect. Carlos went above and beyond, both helping us plan activities and dealing with the few very small issues that arose in a timely manner. It was a really amazing trip!

Carlos's house is exactly as described and pictured (and in some ways even better!). We truly loved our stay, the town of Paquera, and the surrounding areas that we were able to explore. Carlos was the consummate host, making sure that we had everything we needed, provided special tips for our excursions, arranged tours for us, and treated us better than family!

Beautiful, relaxing paradise
My husband, three children and I spent 4 wonderful days at this lovely location in Paquera. The house was perfect for us. Comfortable beds, plenty of space. The kids spent hours playing in the pool. We relaxed in the evening playing games and watching movies. The view is phenomenal! We saw so many butterflies, birds and the monkeys visited twice! Carlos was a wonderfully helpful host. He arranged two tours for us with Milton. Milton is a fabulous guide, tailoring the tours to our interests, showing us many birds, and teaching us about the plants. Sonia cooked us dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. Her seafood stew is out of this world! We also enjoyed the bioluminescense kayaking trip. Absolutely magical. Thank you, Carlos, for all your help, advice and planning. Our family will remember this trip forever!

Fantastic!!!
Everything was amazing. The location offered the best view of Playa Oraganos and Isla Tortuga and we were visited a few times by howler monkeys. The house has everything we needed to relax and unwind and cook for ourselves which is one of the things we love to do on vacation. Carlos is one of the best hosts you could ask for. He is extremely attentive and made sure we were taken care of. He booked our tours and a reservation for dinner. He also set us up with the Tortuga Bahia Tambor beach patrol to find/rescue sea turtles eggs on our last night was a wonderful end to an incredible week.

Beautiful house, 5-Star host!
The house - if the pics online are beautiful, the views in person are stunning! Comfortable beds, great appliances, cold AC and lots of little things already in the kitchen (coffee and filters, spices and Carlos left fresh fruit). Perfect pool for our kids (ages 4 and 7). We saw monkeys within 10 minutes of arriving and could hear the howler monkeys every morning. The location is great and the beach 2 minutes from the house, Playa Organos, is one of the most beautiful I have seen. There are no crowds and perfect waves for beginners to surfing. Buy the ice cream from the stand on the beach-comes in a plastic baggie and was delightful! Now-CARLOS is a thoughtful and amazing host! He helped us to plan so many wonderful activities and introduced us to great local guides. Our surf instructor, William, radiates warmth and got all of us up on the board. I told Carlos I was celebrating my birthday and he left a bottle of champagne and handed a “secret note” to my husband that he’d left party decorations too. Carlos helped us with every little thing-including how to pay the masseuse he arranged when we realized we were out of cash that afternoon and so was the ATM in town (an embarrassing problem to say the least!) We hired a photographer and during our last shot a rainbow appeared. Carlos joked that he arranged it, but I think he could have. In all, a lovely house, great location both as a base to explore other parts of the peninsula and a perfect place to sit still and relax. We miss it already and plan to return!

Hilltop view with an amazing isolated feel!
We loved our stay. The property, while quite remote and requiring a 4WD vehicle without question, was an amazing architectural wonder and had everything we needed. Carlos, as an owner, was incredibly attentive and helped to step in when we needed help with local activities, pizza delivery, etc. He had everything clearly mapped out with instruction for everything. My kids loved the pool and the region was beyond beautiful. We would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat!

If you want to wake up to howling monkeys, love birds, parrots. iguanas and more, this is the place to be. Few minutes away from the village and groceries, bakery and every day necessities are at your fingertips. One minute from the beach, and you're in for the best fish soup you've ever had. Add to it a great host who checks up on you daily to ensure you're doing well and the package is complete. Amazing place ... I'll be back!

Our vacation was amazing. The house is everything it appears to be in the pictures: beautiful, private, lacking nothing. The view is exceptional. Dawn and dusk are filled with the sounds of birds and monkeys as well as the ocean. I’m so happy I chose this location and this house. Amazing wildlife, beach and activities but without the tourist feel. However tourist towns within easy reach. This place feels like an amazing secret that won’t last. Carlos is as everyone has said extraordinary. He’s like a vacation genie without limiting wishes. We are usually pretty self sufficient on vacation, but found ourselves relying on his expert knowledge of the area and the people. His guidance exposed us to wonderful people, places and experiences. It was the vacation of a lifetime and I hope to return soon!

Paradise For Sure
We did a lot of research, and it paid off. We read many previous reviews on how helpful and tentative Carlos was and it was all true. Very kind and helped organize restaurants and activities. His home is beautiful and loaded with everything you need. The view waking up in the morning is a dream. Pool is amazing. The recently built deck is awesome with great views. We loved hearing the monkeys and surrounding nature. 4x4 is encouraged to get up the driveway and is worth it! There is AC in each room. The deck upstairs is great for views. Surround stereo is a cool feature and works out at pool. He has lots of board games, reading material, kitchen is loaded, the house is just amazing. Oh, and the beach is wonderful, just 5 min from house.

Amazing views and a fabulous house!
Our family felt at home as soon as we arrived late at night. The open floor plan was very welcoming! The view was stunning when we woke up the next day. Carlos who is the owner of the house is really helpful and so are his people. The house is a true eco-destination! You can hear and see a variety of local birds and animals on the property including the sighting of the howler monkeys.

Exceptional views, stunning house surrounded by beautiful Costa Rican nature!
We arrived in the darkness off the ferry and Carlos our host was there to greet us and lead us to the villa, just a short 10 minutes ride. Which we were so appreciative after a long day of travel from Canada. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures, absolutely stunning!. Spacious, clean and welcoming and just beautiful in its luminous night time lights with all of nature’s sounds around us. Carlos even had a welcome package for us , ordered us a pizza at our request and took the time to explain the ins & outs of the house and the lay of the land. The next morning at sun rise, we were just mesmerized in seeing our surroundings, hearing & seeing the howling monkeys, seeing all the natural beauty this place offered us. Cooking in the open space kitchen with the amazing view was a dream every day. I chose to be the chef for our group and had a full kitchen tool box to create with. Everything you needed for the house was also available, toilet paper, garbage bags, napkins, sun screen, soap & shampoo, beach chairs, etc.. Carlos is an eloquent, attentive and unintrusive host. Whatever we needed, whenever we needed assistance, he was replying to us and addressed all our inquiries immediately! That brought ease of mind for us and made the stay very, very easy. His native staff Ivan, who cleaned the pool and attended to the grounds was so pleasant to see every other morning. The local merchants were very kind and succeeded in providing us with what we needed, Oh, the fresh fish! Again Carlos available if we had difficulty communicating with them. The nature tour guide Milton was extremely knowledgeable and we had wished we had booked more tours with him. He definitely is a national treasure. If you are looking to book that special home that gives you privacy in the natural flora and fauna that CR provides, away but yet a short 20 minutes drive to the tourist areas, 5minute to your own long walking beach with warm water for swimming, a pool to play & splash in and hot weather. This is the place. We will return to Carlos’s villa, hands down, just not soon enough! Absolutely loved our 10 day stay! Thank you from Mark & Ingrid.

First time in CR but not the last. We were lucky to fall upon a magic place host by Carlos, the best person one can find. Despite his busy schedule, he hooked us up with the best guides, destinations and cooks available. Paquera, Bellevue Isla Tortuga, where we stayed offers views on par with some of the most beautiful in the world, all from a perfect home. I can go on with accolades but I think you get the picture. If you hesiate, you will lose out. Some Pros and Cons... Pros: - Beautiful scenery in a quite place - Almost private beach 10 minutes walking distance, 2 minutes by car - All amenities close by in Paquera Village - Wildlife at your doorstep - Many activities close by - Safe drinking water from tap - Warm, like super warm, so swim! Cons (not really): - requires a 4x4 vehicle - roads are rough - You will not want to leave - Warm, like Super hot! Activities we enjoyed: - Curu tour with Milton (Passionate guide you can't get enough of) - Bahia Rica Isla Tortuga Tour - Bahia Rica Bio Luminescence tour (Awesome) (Thomas and Vidgis are awesome people) - Dinner from Elke's Kitchen (Wow) - Montezuma - Santa Teresa with Coco Luis (rough roads but nice to see)

Wonderful
Bellevue Isla Tortuga is beautiful! The view is just breathtaking, even in front of your eyes it seems to be a dream… Deep jungle everywhere, home to howler monkeys and lots of wonderful birds. Lots of fantastic insects for nature lover like myself. This house is the essence of Pura Vida, it's picturesque beauty and peacefulness will bring you instant wellbeing and you just wish you could never leave this place! The house has everything you need and Carlos is a wonderful host. We spend absolutely amazing vacation there!

Gorgeous, spacious home in a beautiful remote setting
This home was absolutely beautiful, stocked to the gills with extensive cooking equipment, plates and silverware for many people, a grill, stereo system and air conditioning. The common areas were extremely spacious which is what we were looking for because we were on a dance retreat, studying partner dance with some friends. Also, the owner was exceptionally responsive throughout our entire stay, offering us advice on how to use items in the home, where to buy fresh vegetables, and what route to take back to the airport to avoid traffic. There was also a caretaker very near by who came to clean the pool every day and also showed up immediately to help resolve many minor issues. The beach is a three minute drive away. You'll need to rent a 4x4 vehicle to make it up the driveway. I can't think of anything that would have made this stay more perfect - everything was spectacular.
