This home is beautiful with spectacular waterfront views and was large enough for the 5 of us. It was especially nice to have a separate bathroom for each bedroom.
We spent the week travelling to area attractions, which were 40 min -1.5 hours away. Although there was a lot of driving done over the week, retreating back to Panmure Island to watch the sunset from the huge living room windows was lovely.
The beach was just a few steps away, but was extremely rocky. A pair of shoes were a must! When the tide went out, it was lovely to walk onto the sand bars and search for sea glass.
You also have to pack A LOT of bug spray or citronella candles to keep the bugs at bay. The bugs were so bad that we could only enjoy a couple of hours 1 evening outside. There is a screened in gazebo, but it is placed beside the house rather than down by the water, so we didn't use it.
We appreciated the welcome basket with local products, and the check in process was easy.
We also returned from an outing to discover the host had been in the house (just into the kitchen) while we were away. This was a little unsettling, and we would have appreciated a heads up.
However, the host was very attentive with helping us connect to the WIFI, and with providing check in information, as well as links for area attractions.
It's a breathtaking home for a PEI vacation!
