A nice, quite beach vacation
The property suited our needs just fine. The available beach furnishings and toys was a nice and useful surprise. The complex is a little older than the surrounding properties. As a result, the A/C unit had trouble keeping the property cool during the day. Aside from that, we enjoyed the property.

Joy on the Beach
We spent five glorious days and 6 wonderful nights at Joy on the beach. This beautiful condo had all the comforts of home and we could not have been happier. The beach was beautiful, our chairs and umbrella were set up and waiting for us each morning. The grounds were kept immaculately and the keypad gate to access the beach was easy to use. We all enjoyed the fact that the condo had a coded keypad instead of keys! This is a wonderful place, lots of space, lots of comfortable beds, updated bathroom, kitchen and laundry, you really couldn’t ask for more. Steps from the beach and steps from the road to take you to the shops. BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo!

Just as Described
The condo was perfect for our needs. Great view of the gulf, very clean, and a very short walk to the water. Having umbrella & chairs ready on the beach was even better. We will seriously consider renting this condo again.

Great stay
We had a great stay at Joy On The Beach! The condo was clean, comfortable, with all that was needed to get started on your stay. We appreciated the beautiful marine decor. The view was amazing and could be enjoyed from the living room as well. The condo could be heated as you needed (compared to some hotels in Florida which don't allow a temperature above 72F). The check in was smooth; Kathy responded quickly to our emails and messages. Thank you!

Perfect getaway home
My friends and I go on a trip every year to 30A and this is a place we will definitely stay again. It was an amazing location with a beautiful and unrestricted view of the ocean. The management company was professional and responded as soon as we needed them. I left my makeup, they found it and mailed it back to me the same day we left 30A. I can’t say enough with the property management and how they went far and beyond helping make our stay perfect!!

Our annual vacay on 30 A
We enjoyed our family beach trip at Joy on the Beach. It almost everything we needed. I would have liked cleaning supplies other than dish soap. The front room was a bit tight for 7 adults but the the bedrooms were adequate and comfortable. There is no elevator for 3 flights of stairs but it wasn't bad. The stairs to the beach was long but again it wasn't very bad. The best thing about this place is the beach is not overcrowded, a beach setup is ready for you everyday and the view from the balcony. Those are a nice plus. We loved how close we were to Alys and Rosemary beach. It was an easy bike ride. We would stay here again.

Vacation 2023
The property is very nice and well maintained. Had a small issue with door lock but was dealt with in minutes by Itrip. The complimentary chairs are great. Many eating spots are a very short drive and a few excellent places are walkable. I would highly recommend this location for your 30A visit.

Misinformation/Dangerous Stairs
The views and location to the beach were great. If you want to walk to Seacrest or Rosemary, expect to walk more than 1.5 miles each way. If you have more than 5 people in your group the living area and kitchen are very tight. Plus it's outdated. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a little more updated but its hard to move around in the living room/kitchen. I communicated with the property manager and asked specific questions about extra beach chairs and extra linens. They said I need to rent extra beach chairs and the only linens were on the bed but there's a washer and dryer. I asked a friend to bring 4 beach chairs for me because I couldn't fit them in my car and when we got to the house there were 8+ chairs in the outside storage. I don't know why this wasn't communicated to me. We left important items at home so we didn't have to rent more chairs and we didn't need to bring them in the first place. Also, I had to bring an air mattress because there was nothing in the description of a twin fold away bed in the queen room. But when I got there I realized there was, and a lot of extra linens for every bed. I brought extra blankets and sheets for the air mattress and I tend to get cold and I need an extra blanket. These were extra things I did not need but they said the house did not include. Now for the spiral stairs...we had 3 adults fall down the stairs and 2 of them were very hurt, enough that I had to go to the CVS. They almost fell through the bars. The carpet is slippery.

Great Condo!
I stayed for a weekend girls trip. The unit was very clean, well equipped and proximity to beach was perfect! And they not only had beach chairs and umbrellas in the unit to use while there, it also included a beach set up with 2 chairs and umbrella from the beach rental company. They had it all set up and ready to go every morning with our unit # on it so you always had a spot! That was a nice amenity! Will stay here again!

Beach access, convenient, well maintained
We have stayed in this area for many years. This was the first time we stayed where we had direct beach access and we really enjoyed it. It was very convenient for the kids to go back-and-forth between the unit and the beach as needed. The loft upstairs was a hit with the kiddos. The master and connected bathroom were both spacious and clean. Some of the kids thought the the spiral staircase to the second level was neat. The view to the ocean was amazing and unobstructed. It here is a nice lawn area and wooden deck overlooking the ocean with a grill which we utilized to prepare a meal one evening. Super convenient. It was a short 10 minute ride to The Chill (formally known as Tehe Hub) for dinner and Rosemary Beach for shopping. Check-in was extremely easy and the door code worked as expected. The only tough part was hiking the luggage up three flights of stairs. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

Nice condo but was a little deceiving
This condo was in a GREAT location. However, it is not as big as the pictures lead you to believe... and was kinda dated. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean but older. The loft w the 4 beds for the kids was cool though. There is no pool here either...which I should have realized. I assumed it had one considering the price. It seems there are other nicer options for around for cheaper. Also ..the condo has beach chairs and umbrellas which was not mentioned in the listing. I had rented chairs before arriving and this would have been useful info. Also...vacazyn doesn't service this private beach but Jake's does. (For chair rental that is setup for you)

Excellent location/pictures misrepresent condo
The location and access to the beach cannot be beat. Outstanding!!! Also, enjoyed the beach front view and the porch which was always in the shade. We were disappointed as soon as we walked in the condo. The pictures shown are not representative of the condo and are misleading. The condo is much smaller than it appears in the photos While it sleeps 8 comfortably, the living area is best suited for 4 adults (5 if three sit side by side on the old/worn sofa). There is no other seating unless you count the stools at the kitchen counter. The dining table is inaccessible. It is pushed against the mirror, one chair is under the staircase, and there is about 1 ft between two other chairs and the sofa. In addition, the condo was not cleaned to industry standards. Another cleaning company was working in the complex, so we paid them to come up and help us to be able to move in safely. We contacted the rental company. They offered to come back, but we had already taken care of it ourselves. Sadly, the condo was disappointing. We made the best of it and loved the location and beach.
