Family vacay with 5 adults and a 9-month old infant for 4 nights/5 days (Mon-Fri). Property's location was great and the property was in decent shape. Would've been 4 stars if it weren't for the cockroaches.
Late Wednesday evening of our stay, we saw a cockroach in the kitchen, which we terminated. I notified that property manager the following morning and they offered a 2hr late checkout if we didn't mention the cockroach in the review. We thought that was unprofessional but initially agreed since we needed to kill time before our 4pm flight on Friday. At this point we thought it was a one off occurrence and that we terminated the 1 cockroach.
The next day, we see 2 more cockroaches in the bathroom (only terminated 1). At this point, I realized that it was not a one off occurrence but my 9 month old infant has been crawling over same floor with the cockroaches.
I immediately contacted the property manager and then from this point, they stopped responding. I continued reaching out to get this addressed but would not hear back. Add another cockroach sighting on checkout day..
I kept reaching out even a week after checkout with hopes that they could make this right, and when they finally responded, they said they won't do anything. I usually do not like to leave bad reviews and try be understanding, but felt like I didn’t have any other options and tried my best to work with them.
