“The cottage is the most peaceful little getaway for us. We loved seeing the animals on the property and the outdoor living spaces were so lovely to use at night for relaxing. “We were a group of 6 adults evacuating the west coast of Florida due to hurricane Milton. We had a brief stay but our time there was a sanctuary from the storm. The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our host, Maria, was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this home if you visit the beautiful Lake Placid area!”

“The house was clean and Rumiro was very helpful. We needed a new place ASAP to stay and he was flexible to help us. The only thing I would note if you plan to cook is there aren’t any basic cooking supplies (salt/pepper, spices, oil, etc) which would have been helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come to stay again! ”

“My family and I had an amazing stay at the lake house. The sunsets are breathtaking and neighborhood is peaceful. Micheal is an excellent host even before our stay started he was willing to answer all of my annoying questions lol. One tip however, bring bug spray. At no fault of the host the lake gives off a lot of bugs. ”
