Sailboat problems
We live on a sailboat and it needed some major repairs. Booked hotels and vrbos for 2 1/2 weeks. We ended here at this beautiful property!Our hosts were great! I would highly recommend this great spot! Thanks Carla and Mike

Relaxing getaway
This little cabin has excellent views of the Indian River Lagoon. We saw dolphins and beautiful sunrises on the back deck. Nice location with everything you need. The hosts were friendly and easy to talk to. We can't wait to go back.

A great stay
This is such a relaxing stay! The cabin is located on the river surrounded by nature and quiet sounds. The view of space launches is also great. Everything one needs is available, and hosts are the best.

A perfect stay
We loved our stay at Cozy Cottage on the River. The name suits it! Truly cozy! It was just perfect and peaceful. We were comfortable, loved the views- and the hosts Hugh and Marcy were so nice ! The bed was comfortable- the breezes divine it checked all our boxes! We will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Most relaxing weekend
This location allowed for three days of pure relaxation and escape from stressful life style - watching the Indian River, enjoying a fine breeze, and feeling all is good. Everything we needed is there - Just brought food and drink, and personal items. The screened porch and the deck provided a quiet, relaxed time. Host and hostess are friendly. And we saw and heard two SpaceX launches from a distance! If we could give it a 5+++ we would.

Perfect Spot
This was a very peaceful spot. We really enjoyed watching all the wildlife, pelicans, cranes, dolphins, etc. Being so close to the water was a plus, we even did a little fishing and caught a few things. The sunrises and sunset were perfect to watch also. We will be back for sure.

Nice view and good location
Over all the house is in a good location far enough away from the train track so that you don’t hear it with windows closed. They have two Bassett hounds between the main house and the VRBO unit. There is a fraternity house that is relatively close which seems to only party on weekend nights and the music ended around 10pm. Your unit is located approximately 200 feet from the driveway behind the main house overlooking the bay. I had only one issue with the unit. I’m 6,2” tall and the shower head is placed about 5’5” high in the shower. This is fixable and wouldn’t stop me from coming back.

Great romantic getaway
The cottage was nicer than the pictures. The weather was much colder than we had hoped for our 40th anniversary celebration getaway so we spent a lot more the in the cozy than planned. The views of the Indian River were spectacular. We had a wonderful time there. The hostess even had a beautiful bouquet of flowers for us when we arrived. We had quick easy access to nice restaurants, shopping and the beach

Can't wait to return!
I can't say enough about how happy we were to find this gem of a spot! Me, my husband, our son & our dog felt right at home! The cottage was quaint, calm, peaceful & tucked away along the Indian River; the view is just what we needed - to wake up to Spanish moss & beautiful sunrises right outside the door! The bed was cozy, the view is to die for, the entire place is perfect for the folks looking for a romantic spot and/or *quiet* small family getaway. The bird watching opportunities were a bonus! Our hosts Marcy & Hugh were extremely responsive and accommodating and being happy dog people with their own friendly pups, we were over the moon to be able to bring our dog Josie with us. This was our first trip, but it surely will not be our last!

Cozy cottage with full kitchen & breezy view of Indian River
Open layout cottage is perfect for a couple, and the river views were amazing. Though the dock was not accessible due to storm damage, the view of the river from the living room, back porch, and enclosed side porch were beautiful. We brought in food from nearby restaurants, but the kitchen is spacious and well equipped with tools if you want to cook. We had colder than usual temps after sundown, but cottage stayed warm and quiet with the sliding glass doors shut and mini-split heater taking off the chill. Owners were non-obtrusive and thoughtful (texted where to find stashed blankets if needed!). Highly recommend, and hope to stay there again.
