“There are about 30 steps from the off street parking space to the Treetops deck, but we knew that going in. One arrives at a spacious deck with a fantastic view of the Bay of Islands with Russell off in the distance - hence the elevation. “Really nice hostel! The staff are lovely and willing to help with whatever questions you have! Stayed in the 4-bed female dorm and it was pretty good - the floor was quite creaky underneath the carpets in the room so it was hard to be quiet when I had to be up early some of the days (thankfully the other guests were not bothered by this!).
