Wedding weekend
My other half and I stayed at this place to attend my cousin’s wedding in Na’alehu and it was an amazing stay! We truly enjoyed the quiet, relaxing, cleanliness of the unit and overall property. We had some down time to relax prior to the wedding so we enjoyed some relaxation poolside and in the Jacuzzi. This place is a quick 10-15 minute drive to either Na’alehu or Pahala. Awesome hosts, with prompt responses! We highly recommend!

Great Place!
This was a perfect quiet getaway! The condo was clean and had everything we were looking for. Pool area was great and the complex as a whole was quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend!

A Great Place with a few considerations
Overall, we had a great stay. Location (Volcano Nat'l Park, Distance to Kona and Hilo), view, complex/facility and interaction with host (Tom/Christine) including information prior to arrival - wonderful. Consider: A ground floor unit - can hear everything in the above unit that is Condo owned. We had the unfortunate experience of having a toddler awaken us at 4:30AM (1st night) and 6:00- 6:30AM each following day. Not ideal for a peaceful and tranquil experience. Only one towel set per person, no dishwasher or in-unit washer/dryer.

Nice condo with ocean view
Very nice property in small, quiet, well-maintained development. Condo was clean, nicely furnished and well equipped, with small outdoor patio with ocean view. Development has a pool and lovely hot tub overlooking the ocean. Not many amenities (shops, restaurants) in the surrounding area, but convenient for Volcano National Park and exploring the less developed areas of Hawaii big island. Great escape from the Seattle winter!

Peace and quiet, and an earthquake
#20 at Sea Mountain was everything we were looking for. We wanted to spend a few days at the south end of the Big Island so that we could easily go to Volcanoes National Park. We also wanted to spend some time at Punalu'u Black Sands Beach and visit the Punalu'u Bakery in Naalehu. Check, check and check. We found this to be the perfect location for us. It was very comfortable (including the bed!!), we had all that we needed for cooking our own meals, and more than enough supplies like TP, paper, towel, dish soap, hand soap etc. Tom was very good with communication, especially when he heard that we had experienced an M5.7 earthquake with an epicentre not far from our location! We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a quieter, more authentic Hawai'i, away from the busyness of the bigger towns.

Quiet rural hawaii
Hear the birds, ocean and have the pool nearly to yourself every day. Go exploring. Take a hike. Snorkel. Hang out. All in paradise. Highly recommended!!

South Island Getaway
Our first visit to the Big Island and we wanted a place on the south end for our first few days. This was a perfect midpoint, right next to Pu'unaluu Beach and a quick drive to Volcanoes National Park. Tom and Christen's condo is a bit more private within the development as the lanai is off the main pathway, still with a partial ocean view. Very comfortable bed and bath! Development has a decent pool and hot tub in the common area and is quiet. Keep in mind that closest gas is back up the road in Na'alehu, and no close grocery stores, so come with food options all planned out. We had a wind storm that knocked the power out overnight, owner's communication regarding that and the weather advisory was much appreciated. Would happily stay there again!

Pleasant stay
The property was as advertised. It was well kept and quiet. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The unit was comfortable and bright. Enjoyed the pool but was disappointed that I couldn’t use a noodle to float as I have the use of one arm only.

Very nice little downstairs apartment in well-kept condo complex. View is OK from lanai. Potential noise from upstairs people. Lack of AC wasn't a problem for us but could be during hotter weather.

Secluded little getaway
If you’re looking for a secluded, low-key, relatively quiet little place for a honeymooning couple to just spend time together, this is ideal. Not a lot of tourists (except at Black Sand Beach nearby). The local community and shops in Na’alehu gives your experience more authenticity. Great little place if you’re trying to get away.

Fabulous location!
We had a terrific time during our stay. The condo was clean and well supplied. It was a convenient location for us to hit everything in the south end and the east side of the island! We loved the black sand beach and walked down for sunrise daily. Saw sea turtles every morning. On the clearest morning we could see Kilauea glowing in the dark right on the edge of the property. Thanks Tom for a wonderful experience.

Well kept unit in quiet community next to the ocean
This unit is well equipped, updated and clean. It has ocean views and is in a quiet section of the community. Communication with owner was thorough and responsive. I was here for business so didn’t have time to explore the nearby sites this time.

Perfect location for exploring the south part of the island
This is a beautifully updated condo in a small community. It was the perfect location for us to explore the surrounding sights between our stays in Kona and Hilo. Our host was very accommodating and had great advice for things to do in the area. The condo was clean and the Lani had a wonderful view. There is a pretty black sand beach within walking distance from the condo. The hot tub is closed for now.

This property was fabulous! It was bright and very clean!
It was a beautiful place that was located next door to a beautiful black sand beach! So relaxing with sunshine and ocean breeze! Perfect place to get away from it all yet it came with all of the conveniences to stay in touch if needed. It was stocked with everything you needed to feel at home and adventure. The host was very pleasant to deal with, easy access and very accommodating! Will definitely do this again and recommend it to everyone!
