Palm Cottage es un moderno bungalow independiente terminado con un estándar muy alto. Situado en una tranquila calle sin salida con estacionamiento fuera de la carretera en la parte delantera de la propiedad. Otra propiedad de vacaciones está muy cerca, por lo que se presta para ser adecuada cuando varios amigos y familias desean ir de vacaciones juntos.

Palm Cottage tiene un salón / comedor / cocina de planta abierta con un sofá de 3 plazas y 2 plazas, TV de pantalla plana con reproductor de DVD incorporado y mesa de comedor con capacidad para 4. La cocina ha sido terminada con un alto estándar con encimeras de pizarra negra y armarios blancos, placa eléctrica y horno, lavadora, lavavajillas, microondas y frigorífico.

El dormitorio principal tiene una cama doble con espacio de almacenamiento debajo adecuado para maletas, espacio para colgar la ropa, mesitas de noche con luces, un televisor de pantalla plana, una puerta que conduce directamente a la espaciosa ducha, además de la que sale del salón. Puertas de patio que conducen a la zona de terraza cerrada.

El segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales, un gran armario empotrado, armario y también tiene puertas que dan al patio.

El espacioso cuarto de baño está acabado en gris carbón y blanco con una cabina de ducha, tocador, mueble y WC.

El patio cubierto tiene un área cubierta y barbacoa también mesa y sillas y un área de secado de ropa.

Todos los pisos son de madera maciza con calefacción por suelo radiante, excepto cuarto de baño con azulejos.

El acceso es posible para una silla de ruedas pequeña i. mi. No motorizado.

Una casa de vacaciones ideal para 2 parejas o la familia más pequeña.

Another wonderful stay at Palm Cottage. Weather wonderful. Accommodation was perfect, just like our previous stay. Marion and Ray are wonderful hosts. Will definitely stay again.

Summer 24 at St Merryn
Perfect location with everything you need. Great restaurant on site for amazing Sunday carvery and meals. The property had everything needed, perhaps lock on gate so doors to rooms can stay open as it was very warm at night. Definitely recommend.

Better than we thought.
The property was ideal for a small family. Good standard of fittings, everything you would need for a family holiday. The bonus was the outside area to the rear of the property, which even had it's own gas barbecue. It's a shame that the weather prevented us using it during our stay.

We met the owners on arrival as we were early and it was know problem . For us and our little god it ticked all the boxes , safe enclosed area for our dog the couple next door were lovely , thanks the host for a lovely cake on arrival milk tea coffee for us to have . Overall 9.5 out of 10

Excellent accomodation. Situated not very far from Padstow town centre, this little cottage was spick and span, comfortable and well decorated. It has everything we needed for our one week stay. A very good resting place if you want to explore Cornwall. The cherry on the cake: we found a delicious sponge cake when we arrived. Thank you very much Marion and Ray!

Lovely clean well equipped property, couldn’t ask for more
We had a lovely holiday here and enjoyed staying in this very nicely decorated, clean bungalow, on arrival there was a lovely cake and tea making equipment that was very welcome. Great attention to detail with a file of useful information about the property and the surrounding area, and the local pub/restaurant did good food. The finishing touches were good, even toilet rolls provided! Overall we were very pleased and enjoyed visiting the local beaches.

Overall good.
Property overall a lovely place and great location to access places in the area. Pub/ restaurant on site and local shop. It states that there is a hot tub, This shouldnt be advertised as there is a hot tub because there isint. This didnt effect us and our stay but some people may look for this as a option and with it stating there is a hot tub, Unfortunately its false advertisement. Overall a good stay and wouldnt put us of staying again but the discrption needs to be changed.

Ticks all the boxes!
A comfortable and functional holiday home, with a lovely surprise of a chocolate cake on our arrival, milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and sugar sachets...a definite god send after a long drive! Cottage is situated in a good location for Padstow and beaches such a Trevone and Halryn. Great that we could take our dog, and a secure decking area for him to run around. Two gated entrances down the side of the cottage, where we were able to store our kayaks when not in use. Decking area accessed by both bedrooms, with seating and a BBQ, also with a washing line with was great to hand and dry off our wetsuits. Kitchen is lovely, good range of crockery etc, washing machine and dishwasher. Decent size fridge and a microwave. Lounge is comfortable and spacious with a TV. Bathroom is great with a shower and two entrance doors. Bedrooms are a good size. WISH LIST - A couple of fans, especially as no windows in the the bedrooms, you have to open the patio doors for some air when warm, which is okay as area is safe do be able to do this, but fans as a option would be great. We will definitely consider Palm Cottage as our go to holiday home for our next visit to Cornwall.

No hot water had to keep boiling the kettle for washing up and bathroom Bathroom shower unit needs a good clean very black around door slides fittings and soap dish. Plug hole needs a degunk to enable washer to drain. Under floor heating came on every day glad the weather wasn’t any warmer ! Had to open all windows and doors on returning to the property. Very long dark hairs on double bedroom floor. We made the most of our stay and visited some beautiful places in the area.

Great Property, Great Location
You couldn’t ask for more, the cottage is spotlessly clean well furnished & has everything you need for a great stay. The rear courtyard is secure for pets & fully equipped to sit outside & relax including BBQ. Location wise everywhere in north Cornwall is easily reached & some of the beaches close by are stunning. Had a great holiday with our Puppy. Cottage was perfect. Description was spot on. Ray and Marion were lovely to deal with. Cottage was spotless and the cake when we arrived was a great surprise and a first. Would certainly recommend.
