Esta cabaña es el refugio familiar perfecto. Lo encontrará escondido al final de un carril privado. Está respaldado por National Forest, que le ofrece caminatas y exploraciones justo afuera de la puerta trasera. Te complacerá la corta caminata hasta el río Cowlitz. Esta cabaña se encuentra en High Valley. Estás a solo diez minutos de la entrada de Steven’s Canyon al monte. Más lluvioso, a 30 minutos del área de esquí White Pass y a poca distancia en auto de Randle, donde puedes acceder al monte. S t. Helen's. Esta cabaña de dos pisos es un lugar encantador para un retiro familiar tranquilo con mucho espacio afuera para que jueguen los niños. Great location!
The AC was down while we were there but fortunately the portable provided my our host were sufficient, and we had a very comfortable stay. The area is quiet and close to many hiking spot. Will stay there again!

Elder Lodge
The property was great. The only downside was the air conditioner was out of order during our stay, fans were provided to help with air flow but house became very warm and uncomfortable in the afternoon. Very pleased to see the air conditioner repair man come just as we were leaving. Glad for future guests will be cool and comfortable.

Our family of 9 stayed for four nights. Pros: big cabin with lots of room for everyone. Plenty of dishes and silverware, dish soap and laundry soap. Sattelite and a nice DVD collection in place of any streaming services Cons: WiFi was limited, the front door locked from the inside but if you pushed down on the handle from the outside it opened still. Our first night some drunk guys came and used the hot tub and came inside and stole a pair of shoes (they came back the next morning bc they lost their phone on the property and we didn’t realize we were missing items or that the hot tub was used until after they left). The AC was down while we were there, it was communicated to us 2 days before check in and no further updates were given. One of the bedrooms had a dog pee spot that was surface cleaned (damp to the touch when we arrived) but the room smelled like pee for the whole stay. The kitchen faucet leaks and never turns off and the drain leaks into a bowl underneath that overflowed during our stay. Cookware is plentiful but old and most need replacing.

Comfortable Packwood Cabin
Very comfortable place to stay while in the Mt. Rainier/Mt. St. Helens area! Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. Plenty of beds (different and better beds than in the pictures) for a large group with kids, nice hot tub, comfortable seating area with large windows to view the trees that surround the house. My family spent quite a bit of time on the front deck as we enjoyed the quiet area nestled in the trees. There are some short trails behind the house that make for a nice walk through the woods too! There are some other houses that you can see through the trees, but it still feels like a private and quiet retreat! The hosts were also very responsive when we contacted them for help with some things.

Amazing Location and Home
What a perfect location for Mt Rainer NP with an entrance only a few miles away! Packwood has gas groceries and everything we needed only minutes away. The setting for the home is beautiful and the inside is equally as wonderful. The home has everything one could need and more. It was a highlight of our PNW trip and communication and check in was great. If we come back this way we hope to stay here again!

Hidden Gem
Great property. The pictures really don’t do it justice. I would in fact recommend new pictures. There is a covered firewood storage area that is not in the pictures. I don’t think it’s guaranteed but there was a lot there. There was some appliances that weren’t working when we got there. One the management notified ahead of time and one we found on our own. Other than that it was a fantastic time. Oh there is plenty of places to buy firewood in town. Looped driveway with plenty of parking space. There was a couple of random dogs that showed up without an owner. There are a LOT of big dogs around. Mostly friendly but something to be mindful of with small children.

Great location, cozy stay
Property was clean and well maintained. The owners were very communicative before and during our stay when we had issues. Our only issue was that the pilot light of the water heater kept turning off so we didn't always have hot water.

Good experience. House was clean, easy to access & exactly as expected from the listing. Only downside is we couldn’t enjoy the awesome fire pit area due to the local fire/burn bans during the time we stayed.

Twentythreeversary
We celebrated our 23 years together at Elder lodge. It was just perfect for us and our dogs Jack and Joe. We loved the kitchen, as we are foodies. Also, the hot tub and master bed were delightful.

Lovely House and location
We very much enjoyed our stay at the property. We had a group comprised of two families with kids, plus grandparents for a ski weekend. The house was very spacious in the common areas. There were nice trails around to walk outside, and the location felt somewhat secluded.

Great week in a great place. Beautiful place to spend a few days. Very responsive hosts. Due to the big snow storm there were power issues with the hot tub. Went above and beyond to make sure it was working for us. Definitely a place we will return to!

Great family cabin
This house was a wonderful rental home. First, we were impressed with how clean it was, especially because dogs are allowed. It was spotless. The kitchen was very well stocked and I was thrilled because I had forgotten flour for the roux for my soup and there was a small bag of flour in the cupboard! The beds were comfortable and I loved the recliner to read my book by the fire! It was about 35 minutes to White Pass to ski. There is a beautiful forest behind the property and we took our dog for a walk and found a waterfall near the property! There was also a herd of elk every morning that we could see from the dining room window. Thank you for renting your beautiful home and allowing our beloved Champ to come with us :).

Perfect weekend getaway
My family has started a tradition to rent a cabin in the wood somewhere in jan (after the hustle and bustle of the crazy holiday season) and we found this place for this years getaway! LOVED IT so much! They have everything one could need in the cabin, SO cute, very clean and comfortable! We will be back, hoping in the summer time. AND communication was so great! There was a potential hiccup (hot tub went down just before our stay) BUT with constant communication and follow through, everything went with out a hitch and hot tub was ready for us to relax in! THANK YOU SO MUCH! It was just a wonderful stay!

Great Getaway
House is exactly as advertised but better. Warm, homey feel. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen. We didn’t use the fire pit (winter) and we planned to use the hot tub but didn’t- two tired after skiing.
